Saw the ad in Instagram and decided to take the leap of faith to try their bombolonis as it is a fairly new, in-trend dessert but was so disappointed with the first experience.

Got the combo of 5 bombolonis and 5 creampuffs. Ordered 1 of each 5 bombolonis flavours that they have and paid for them. Waited 15 minutes and then went to the staff and ask how long we will need to wait, to our surprise, this is when the staff told us to wait another 20 minutes as they are making the cream for the cream puffs. As we are not willing to wait any longer, we asked if we can cancel the order and get a refund on the creampuffs. Staff said no... Why did you fail to let us know that there is a wait time before we paid for them? So, with no other choice, gotta wait.

Came back after 20 minutes and now the staff tells us that there is no more stock of 1 of the flavour for the bombolonis. Seriously? You did not bother to keep the our order of the bombolinis that we have already paid for or fail to mention that when/before we make the payment? Also, your staff did not even bother to ask which flavour we wanted 2 pieces of to replace the 1 flavour that they did not bother to keep? Talk about back to back horrible service in 1 visit.

We are appalled with the bad service here and we will not be back. The bombolonis fillings are too sweet and so jelak to finish. And for goodness sake, we hope you have already changed your sign that says *only 5 people allowed in the store to *only 5 customers allowed in the store because including your many staffs who were roaming around the store, we can't tell which are customers or your staff. And none of them bother to regulate and stop more people from entering your shop when there are more than 5...

Bad service. I ordered Juice Combo Box thru beepit. However, did not receive my juices. Called the store and they told me will resend the juices. When the juices came, the driver informed me that I need to pay for the delivery fees as the store chosen cash on delivery as payment method. Delivery fees was paid for when placing the order thru beepit. The 2nd delivery should be paid by the store as it is their mistake for not preparing the correct order.

Edit: Just to clarify I did not paid for the 2nd delivery as when the 2nd rider arrived and demanded for payment, I told him there is a mistake as I should not need to pay for it. While I was trying to contact Sugar and I, the driver went away. After my call got thru, I informed Sugar and I on what happened asking them to contact the rider and pay him. The reason why I posted this review is not to spread bad rumors. Yes you did resend back the item. However, the mistake shouldn't occur twice on the first place. Bought a box of 8 (Rm 60) for my mother’s birthday from their kiosk at The Starling. The box so pretty and well thought out designed.

The bomboloni were so soft. I bought each flavour of whatever left. It was around 2pm Sunday.

My fav are Oreo (the crunchiness) ans Bueno (similar taste as Bueno spread), while everyone else love the Pistachio ( for me it is not nutty enough like llao llao sauce)

Custard - heavy filling and I feel like something missing.

Mixed berries jam, too sweet and nothing special to shout for (if you love something like this, just buy filled strawberry/ rasberry jam donut from dunkin donut)

For cosmic blueberry and rasberry are really below par, just plain cream base with fruit flavour, no even drop or hint of bluebbery/ rasberry jam as susprise. Bcs one couldnt even finish these two, so I made the honour while counting every cent I spent for these bombolonis.
