Do not recommend staying the night here unless you are okay with the prices.
Overall, when it comes to cleanliness, the room is quite okay, not really dirty. However, many other things like the sheets or the toilet seat are sometimes dirty. The towels especially, look quite awful and disgusting with almost all of them having brownish or yellowish stains. The bedsheets were okay but there were still some stains at the corners and other places where you dont always have a look at. It is as if they never clean them at all and just reuse them for the next customer.
When it comes to customer service, the reception is somewhat poor. Staff tends to be lazy, incompetent, and not punctual. However, the two Indians at the desk and the cleaner are quite friendly and are okay. Sometimes when calling reception, they either pick up late or do not pick up at all.
The rooms are never really fully equipped and ready. Toothbrush and toothpaste were missing, no soap in the soap dispenser, broken toilet seat, no mineral water bottles, not enough cups, no tissue rolls, broken shower head, no tv remote (happens often), broken tv, no telephone to call reception, broken lights, and many more. The rooms tend to be quite cramped. The bathroom mat is horrible and of poor quality and does not really absorb water, which causes the floors to be quite sticky and moist afterwards.
The only things that are nice, are the soft mattresses, pillows and blankets, somewhat strong wifi, hot water and Max Hotel's covenient location which is close to many restaurants,...
