This restaurant i like it because they have their reserve parking for their customer just right infront of the shop. So you plan to bring your family to go and eat, it is the right place, easy for old people and children to access direct to the restaurant. For this point i gave 5 star.
This restaurant all the design trying decorate to be 70s or 80s which is quite good. However the restaurant is quite big, so all the decorations wasn't syncing from the front to the toilet, to the bar as well. It is like a bit here and there. However some of the furniture and decorations are really authentic especially the chair they use really nice. However the echo inside the restaurant a bit loud, so if a lot people inside, will be very noisy, hopefully they will solve this issue. Overall i rate 4 stars for environment.
We had ordered 2 main dishes and 2 side dishes. One asam laksa and one fry bihun with fried chicken, for side we ordered meat pao and Loong Hwa Toast. For drinks ordered one coffee and one milk tea.
For the asam laksa the taste just normal, the fragrance not really come out, it is a bit plain, but the fish meat given quite much, and two pieces of prawns. For me, i prefer more spicy and sourly soup based, of course must have a lot of fish meat and vegetables. So the laksa provided i only can rate 3 stars for overall.
The fry bihun with fried chicken is also so normal to me. The taste of bihun also very plain not even can taste at all actually, but mix with the sambal just fine, nothing special. However the fried chicken is good, tasty and with fragrance. The acar also quite nice. But as overall everything just not match to each other. So i just rate 3 star for it.
The side dish or snack a bit surprised me, especially the meat paw. It look so cute the taste is normal but the meat quite much the skin not too thick. However the Loong Hwa Toast is interesting because inside they have the biscuits so when you eat it is soft and crunchy inside, but the luncheon meat is a bit too little. So overall i rate 4 stars for the snack and side dish.
The drinks is also very normal nothing surprised me. So i rate 3 stars for it.
As summary for all i rated 3 stars, it is suitable for family gathering because all the foods all family friendly. As improving comments, the menu given all words for some uncle and aunty might not easy for them to know what is the food how big is the portion. And order is using apps, it will be more helpful for elderly. Another thing is the sound proof have to work on it, because echo too loud, when many ppl sure very noisy, suggest can add in curtains or soft cushions. That all from me.

Read moreToday, I enjoyed a delightful Nanyang-style feast at Loong Hwa Kopitiam. My friends and I were all impressed by the variety and quality of the dishes. This restaurant is a one-stop haven for Nanyang flavors, offering everything from main courses, beverages, and desserts to snacks. The environment is clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable—perfect for the tropical Malaysian climate, making it an inviting place to dine.
Here are some of the dishes we tried:
Pandan Nasi Lemak The fried chicken drumstick was impressively large, enough for two people to be satisfied. The sambal chili was delicious, with a moderate spiciness that everyone could enjoy.
Yam Cake Solid texture, generously portioned, and paired with a special chili sauce that everyone loved.
Radish Cake Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, cooked to perfection.
Liu Sha Bao (Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun) The custard filling did not disappoint, absolutely delicious.
Portuguese Egg Tart A must-try for egg tart lovers.
Additionally, we had pineapple buns, kaya puffs, braised pork rice, and fried vermicelli. Each dish was uniquely flavorful and memorable. Loong Hwa Kopitiam not only offers delicious Nanyang-style cuisine but also a comfortable dining environment, making it an excellent place for family and friends to gather. Give it a try—you won’t be...

Atmosphere is ok… & not crowded at all. The only thing to improve is probably to have some ambient music in the background. Also lack off pastry aroma…
We ordered:
fried bihun 👎🏼 ⭐️⭐️ taste is rather bland, no wok-hei & cabbages to give it some taste & crunches, soggy & trimmed too short (probably suitable for kids) side dish achar also lack of taste & the cucumber too big chucks
Ipoh chicken hor fun 👍🏼 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ portion is just nice, the chicken shreds may appear small portion but most of them are hidden underneath the hor fun. The prawns are huge. taste is acceptable
Kopi C Kosong👍🏼 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ kaw! & authentic taste 👍🏼
Milo 👍🏼 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ taste quite original 👍🏼 & not that sweet
Although, there is 1 disappointment we encountered. We wanted to order their breakfast series, potato ham egg sandwich but was told that it will very long to prepare. When we asked the waiter (around 9.30am) how long to wait?, he replied, veryyyyyyy long… As a business operator especially for breakfast, they should have prepared the ingredients earlier… so that customers who came in won’t be disappointed. P.s. the sandwich is in the printed menu but not in the app menu.
Above review is based on our personal taste...
