The Burg - Awesome Burger Place — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

My first time having a meal here… to be frank, I don’t usually enjoy burgers but my friend invited me here and honestly, I’m glad she did… it’s quite an experience… so here we go!

1- So I ordered the Thai-Namaite Burger, honestly, I feel like I’m eating the healthiest burger in the menu for the amount of greens they give me and grilled chicken too! The side, I prompt for was suppose to be fries but they let me choose salad so that’s cool 👍🏻 Taste wise, it was so good I forgot to share with my boyfriend.. I devoured the burger whole.. yummy… and that usually doesn’t happen when I eat burgers so kudos to the chef! 6/5. It’s not a typo… I legit give 6/5 cuz it’s that good.

2- my boyfriend ordered the Salted Egg burger and his comment was “It’s a good burger”. Chicken is moist and seems to unable to find any flaws in the burger. 5/5.

3- my friend ordered mustard cream pasta and she liked it cuz.. said “playfully reading the pallet”… 5/5.

4- then we ordered a side of truffle fries… honestly could be better.. it’s a tad bit soggy but it tasted pretty good 👍🏻 So I’d give this 4/5

5- atmosphere is pretty comfortable! Clean and cozy! The service is pretty decent too 👍🏻 Recommended me the best burger that caters to my taste too ❤️❤️

Ordered the aglio olio but ended up getting something entirely different from an aglio olio.. like this is my first time seeing carrots and cherry tomatoes in aglio olio. The juices that sapped out changed the whole pastas taste making it sour and slightly sweet, i mean an aglio olio is supposed to be savoury and herby right? at least thats the "good old fashioned" (they stated that in the description on the menu) aglio olio that i know at least. Moving on to the carrots, they put quite an amount of it in the pasta and speaking from experiences, I don't remember carrots being an ingredient when it comes to aglio olio. Now, I'm not that big of a fan when it comes to carrots and thats not the main issue, the main issue is that they didn't add the fact that they add carrots in the pasta on the menu, which was a huge let down and also quite surprising. Hope there will be improvements in the future for being more informative and accurate on the menu, as well as learning to do a better job on the dish. Blink and you might miss this cozy cafe on 2nd floor. The first thing you notice while walking up the stairs to the cafe are the throwback recipe notes posted on the industrial walls. This is priming your mind for further eye candy once you make your way to entrance of the cafe and see the carefully chosen interior. I’m sure there are already enough photos posted both in other reviews and the cafes IG page, so check those out, or better yet give the cafe a visit.

We ordered many items, and highlights are the char siew burger, mushroom soup, truffle fries , and their many waffle combos. My personal choice, as recommended by the attentive and helpful staff, was the Salted Egg chicken burger. It did not disappoint! Pro-tip, maybe don’t wear a white T-Shirt as you might be so distracted by the taste nirvana of the burger that you end up wiping your hands on yourself.
