Felt like trying their new Tiramisu Pandan, so I placed my order at 8.32pm. I noticed that there were only 1 lady at the counter, so it was obvious that they were short staffed, and she told me upfront that it will be abit late, which is fine.
(1st picture) 40mins has passed, and yet my 1 order of Tiramisu is still not ready. I noticed that a few person who ordered after me, already gotten their drinks. Thats when I got impatient. I went to the counter to ask for my order, and she told me to wait and another lady asked me what my order was, and I told her it was a single Tiramisu Pandan.
(2nd picture) 5 mins after that, I got my order. But something was off. They did not gave me the creame sauce that was suppose to go on top of the Tiramisu. I asked the lady at the counter, and she mentioned that there is nothing that comes along with it. It is what it is.
I was unsatisfied with their answer so I took a bite, and spent 5-10mins searching online if there is such cream sauce. And my finding proves me right. I confronted the lady again, and then she apologies and get the cream sauce for me.
Yes, the Tiramisu Pandan was good, but the whole experience just throws it off and it was unpleasant. Felt like my order was the easiest to prepare, yet it was the longest. Had to cancel my other plan because of it. Most probably will be...
Read moreMy favorite place to visit for work and reading whenever I’m around. Last Saturday I was here to order cake and have a cup of coffee. The dessert folk being given wasn’t clean properly. Hence I’ve asked the counter staff/ barista to change another one for me. She’s not only given me another folk, but she’s looked into it seriously yet felt guilty about my unpleasant experience and made a sincere apologized. She has informed the manager whom busy at the kitchen too. Really surprising me was after a while, the Manager came out to apologize to me again for the unpleasant dine-in experience by explaining the reason this was happened. I’m truly understood the situation. I’m very touched with such a good customer service and care in this outlet. To be honest, the customer service these day isn’t up to basic standard. Besides, others might be putting this incident by looking it into different races our country. But in my mind, I’m only looking at we all are human being without making any differences though the barista, manager and I are different race. Aren’t this the beauty of Malaysia? Not really after the Chicago Cheesecake came to my table. It was super small as compared to other café, in terms of price per portion of a cheesecake. Alright, then 3 Stars for an average quick grab and go café right?
Nope, it was not until I saw a staff picking her tooth with her finger nails that made me give this place a 2 Stars for unhygienic issues. So, you ask me what made them get 2 stars? I guess they at least gave a warm welcome at the start.
