This place is small but even at 3pm, 70% capacity is filled. The food is fine. It actually a bit more expensive than other sushi franchise. It is still clean and waiter/waitress will attend to you when you use the tablet to call them. However, take note that at times, they are a bit slow to response if too many people.
Most of the orders are via tablet which is provided on each of the table. The tablet sometimes can hang due to the app. Once restarted, it will be ok. Due to small space, this place can be full once you reached here. You may need to wait but it doesn't warrant me to bring down star since there isn't much you can do.
The curry katsu I had is good. The curry is not diluted like some other sushi restaurant. It is thick.
This is a franchise, so don't expect quality like those Japanese chef or rakuzen. The taste is ok and if you don't want long queue like Zanmai, you...
Read moreHonestly speaking, i would like to give a rating for negative 5 star, unfortunately Google is too good to rate minimal 1 star! Sushi King had been my first choice especially during my teens and this is where most of my friends and I hang out due to the happy hour. Unfortunately today this place gave me a nightmare. The service is so slow there aren't utensils in the utensils box, the staff are so limited, the "staff bell" is so useless, technically not functioning at all. I receive my tea 15 mins after the food served on the table. The food taste so bad and I feel so disappointed, well the only thing that is nice from what I ordered is just the golden egg ball and the hot green tea! I know that most vegetables is just serving as a food deco but please look at the lettuce!!! It's older than my mum!! My conclusion is that I will never come back here. Especially the branvh in...
Read moreMy first time dining in sushi king in this branch. Tried out all-you-can-eat buffet. However, I was extremely disappointed with the choices of food available. I was told that no sashimi is available, no salmon belly and pretty much half of the menu was not available. Felt like being scammed to pay for a buffet without the star dish, which is the sashimi. However, salmon nigiri (raw salmon with rice) was available. It really blown my mind on how sashimi (raw salmon without rice) was not available but salmon nigiri (raw salmon with rice) was available. The booking system can be improved as there was miscommunication among the staff. The attached photos are stacks of plates shared between 2 people. Food that was readily available is circled in the menu picture attached.
The only saving grace is the harujuku cheese cake (which is frozen). Tasted like a smooth creamy...
