I recently visited this Cafe with my friends to celebrate a birthday, and I must say, the experience was quite disappointing. Despite ordering through a QR code, which we promptly used to order and pay for our food, the service we received was far from satisfactory.
To make the occasion special, we specifically requested the cake slice to be brought out first so we could start our celebration. However, not only was this simple request ignored, but the entire service was also delayed. The drinks took an unusually long time to arrive, and the cake slice, meant for the birthday celebration, came much later than expected.
The main course was the most frustrating part of our visit. We had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our food to arrive. To add to the inconvenience, one of our orders was mistakenly given to another table, causing further delays. By the time the last dish arrived, our patience had worn thin.
In an attempt to compensate for the poor service, the staff offered us two complimentary lattes. While the gesture was appreciated, it did little to improve our overall experience. The café needs to significantly improve its service, especially in handling orders promptly...
Read moreCame here after seeing a post on IG. Came to Farmer's Bar before for their range of alcohol. Definitely worth it. First time visiting Double Dough, we ordered Shakshuka and also the Classic Chicken Chop. The Shakshuka was presented very differently from the picture (portion was way smaller) and also eggs were still raw (egg white was not cooked) but taste wise it was still acceptable. The Classic Chicken Chop on the other hand was really disappointing. Overcooked & dry chicken chop, sticky/gooey mashed potato with "air dried" skin as if it was left out too long that was BLAND. Literally had no taste of seasoning whatsoever, no salt no pepper. I'd say for RM 23, it definitely isn't worth it.
To the chef, I'd really suggest you improve the taste of the menu as this experience was rather dissapointing.
Atmosphere here is really nice to have chill conversations with friends & family. Service wasn't...
Read moreCame here after the KL Foodie review and left with disappointment. Where do i start..
the cafe is shared with Farmers Bar and there were no indication saying that you’re in the right place. We had to go in and sat and help ourselves.
ordering system is made online. This is where it fell short. Some of our order didn’t went through.
Meatball Bolognaise arrived 30mins after order was placed. Nasi lemak arrived approx 20 mins later. Drinks arrive so much later after we asked and this is when the waiter mentioned the order didn’t go through. — the waiter apologise though and i give her props to that.
meatball was bland. Spaghetti was okay. Nasi Lemak isn’t ‘lemak’ enough and the rest was bland. Ice choc tasted like diluted milo water and lemon coffee tasted like.. nvm.
First and last and good luck if you’re...
