Honest Review: First and Definitely the Last Visit
Visited this restaurant with high hopes but left completely disappointed.
Extremely Long Waiting Time (55 mins for a Kids Meal?) Our experience started off poorly — we waited 55 minutes just for the kids meal to arrive. It was only curly fries and an iced chocolate drink. When it finally came, the fries were cold and hard, clearly not freshly made. We flagged it to the waitress and it was replaced, but what came next tasted like yesterday’s pasar malam fries, just reheated enough to be served to a child. It really made us wonder — is this the kind of quality you give just because it’s a free kids meal?
T-Bone Steak & Lobster Set — A Big Letdown After over an hour of waiting, our main set finally arrived. The T-Bone steak was a disaster. We requested Rare, but what we got was clearly Medium — tough, chewy, and dry. Flavour-wise, it was mediocre at best. We’re regular steak lovers and honestly, Kay’s Steak & Lobster wins hands down in both taste and execution. The lobster? Decent, but nothing memorable. The long wait really wasn’t worth it.
Australian Angus Sirloin — Not Steakhouse Quality Another letdown. We asked for Medium, but were served Well-Done. It completely ruined our appetite after waiting for more than an hour. The steak was also very thin, which made it even less satisfying. Honestly, if a steakhouse can’t get the basics right — cooking temperature and thickness — then it doesn’t deserve to be called a steakhouse.
Creme Brûlée — Or Should I Say Dadih Brûlée? This was the final straw. For RM20, we were served a dessert that tasted more like cheap dadih (milk pudding), not a proper creme brûlée. No silky texture, no rich custard flavour — just a sweet, jelly-like cup with a sugar crust on top. Completely missed the mark.
Final Verdict:
Highly disappointing experience from start to finish. Poor service, long wait times, and sub-par food that fails to meet basic expectations — especially for a place marketing itself as a steakhouse.

Read moreYou wouldn't guess there's such a hidden gem in BK5. This restaurant just took over the space from the previous restaurant who apparently couldn't manage to stay in the premises.
Ok, talking about food wise we ordered a Wagyu Rib Eye Steak, Mixed Platter, Seafood Aglio Olio pasta and Mac & Cheese for our kids.
Taste wise it's like eating in those high end restaurants, the chef really made sure that the doneness for the steak is as per customer request. I requested for medium rare and I get medium rare. Some other restaurants still serve a medium instead of medium rare which is a thin line between the red and pink middle.
The seafood platter is huge and they blow torched it in front of you to give the smoky flavor. I think it's best for sharing (otherwise if you're really hungry then please enjoy it yourself by all means)
Seafood Aglio Olio pasta also came with a generous portion of seafood, kids portion came with drinks and marshmallow. We had a dark chocolate cake as well since we're celebrating a birthday occasion.
Price wise it's on the mid upper end but the taste is totally worth it.
You can also request a decoration if you want to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. The waiters are all attentive and ensuring that your dining experience is great.
Overall it's really a pleasant experience especially when we get it from a restaurant that looks like any other restaurant but actually a...
Read morePreviously, I really loved this place but last night I changed my mind. The service wasn't that friendly as previous when I visited this place. And unfortunately we're hungry and we have to wait for long time for the food to be served. Saddening, other customer who comes after us got their food and drinks first and not us. Ofc, I'm upset and start to called the waiter. Guess what, the waiter told us that the kitchen crew didn't received our order while we already received the confirmation order list on our table. Is that my problem? I guess not because I'm the customer and you're the service provider. LOL I'm getting angry but thankfully the waiter did what she should. But, still I'm disappointed and dissatisfied as the other waiter came and asked (while showing his snobbish face) whether all order have been completed. OMG. The problem came from your side so why didn't you just admit and say sorry instead of being so ignorant and arrogant? I'm sorry, but you just lost your potential customer in future. Besides, the food has also declined the taste not as good as before. And for price, it's quite pricey as the taste is not excellent as before so considered not so worth anymore. That's all...
