Uncle Chua Signature — Restaurant in Terengganu

I was at Tanjong, just stroll the road late at night. Looking for food. In google maps, the business hours stated closed at that time. There are 2 Uncle Chua's at my hometown. But when i took the right turn towards Tanjong lama, spotted that Uncle Chua still on business hours. Haiyaaaa!! So my son and I, went for late night supper. Its a normal kopitiam like the rest. Last night, was a hectic night. Well, its raya time. What to expect. Normally, not that much crowded. Anyway, we manage to get the table, inside at the back and ordered some. we had tomyam bee hoon, half boiled egg, toast, fried dumpling and salted egg bun. For drink, i choose coffee chiam peng. For me, the Tomyam is okok only. If you like sweet spicy broth. Its not soury spicy like the normal tomyam taste. Don't worry, still eatable. Just preference, ok? I could go more than 3 for that salted egg bun. Sooooo yummy. I ate with soft boiled egg. Toast bread, as usual. Sedap because still warm. The fried dumpling is okok too. For those healthy eater, this one is not for you 🤣🤣 So, lets enjoy the food!...

The restaurant is clean, air conditioned and got plenty of seating. Variety of food selection; from fried rice to tomyam to western food to noodle dish to keropok to butter chicken to dumpling to roti kaya and a lot more. Waiting time was short during my visit. The drinks and food started coming after only 5 mins.

I ordered gong bao chicken rice and thai sauce chicken rice. Both smell so good. But the former was not to my liking. Very salty. Thai sauce chicken rice on the other hand was really good. Chicken was fried with the thai sauce. The sauce is brilliant, chicken is soft and sweet.

Pricing is a bit towards the high side. And ice water for RM1 per a small glass?

The restaurant is strategically located. But parking spaces are very limited.

Will definitely come again to try different set of food. And of course with my own...

The place was cozy but due to eid, during my visit there it was full and hard to find seats available.

Their service was quite fast, given the amount of customers present there. The foods, were not that impressive. Maybe cus I have tasted the same menu from many other places, so their is my least favourite. Drinks were all good as said by those who were there with me. My parents are a big fan of teh tarik, and receives a compliment from them means you have done a great job hahha lol. I've been craving for some caffeine today so yeah, cravings satisfied 💯. There is still some room for improvements! So keep up the good work!

Staffs were friendly and polite. Fast in responding calls and enquiries from customers.
