KT Beach Resort — Hotel in Terengganu

Booked a family room last minute through Agoda, on 11-12 October 2024 and it was a relief to find plenty of rooms available even with a late booking. Called ahead to confirm the booking, but the reception informed us we’d need to come in person to check. The staff very friendly. The resort also provides touring package 1 day, you just need to ask if you interested.

The room itself was quite spacious, with one queen bed and two singles—ideal for a family stay.

The building is showing its age a bit, with some ceiling cracks and peeling paint, but thankfully, nothing spooky here! Facilities were basic yet complete, including a water heater, kettle, cups, towels, wardrobe, and a working TV with a few channels.

The location is a real highlight. It’s right in the town center, with plenty of popular eateries nearby, all within easy walking distance if you’re up for a short walk.

Just across the road is a shopping mall, which also has a 7-Eleven café right outside where you can grab snacks, drinks, or any quick essentials. For laundry needs, there’s even a 24-hour dobi service close by, which came in handy.

Overall, it’s a convenient and comfortable option, especially if you want easy access to town attractions...

Been here a few year earlier, there were a beach beside it, could feel the cool breeze and smell of the ocean. But in my short stay yesterday, the beach was no more, thus, it is not a RESORT anymore. The area is now extended about a kilometer with building in progress. ||||From then, nothing had change inside the hotel. So could call it Run Down, the wooden edge of doors almost gone eaten away by mites. And I had a leak over my head as there were heavy rains that evening. Move the bed and found all sorts under the bed hairs, lotsa them should be something the collected a long while ago. Would not have found them if not for the rains. ||||Basic amenities are working fine, still the usual tube tele Toilets are spotless, except if u are fussy on the edge between the tiles. Dun bother to try the extra pillow in the cupboard, dun think they ever change it. Ask them to bring u a new one if u need one.||||The only good is lotsa restaurant around ranging from western, seafood, japanese, indian, chinese ... I think u name it, it should be around just a...

Genuinely my family’s best comfort regular resort to stay 2~4 days in Terengganu whenever we balik kampung. Firstly , the staffs are friendly and provide good customer service.

Next, this resort also has very strategic place, such as..:

• some very nearby non-halal restaurants directly in front of the face of the resort (I personally recommend Restaurant Ocean, my favourite place to enjoy dinner together with my family)

•variety of local Terengganurian(?is this how one spell org ganu? lol) food all around the corner

•a couple streets to cross over to KTCC mall, a 10 minute stroll to Mayang Mall) and many more places to explore around outside this resort, honestly.
