My one night stay here was horrid. We came to the hotel and waited for 20 minutes before we could even find a parking, which was outside the hotel since the indoor ones was full. We were greeted by the receptionists who were unfriendly and unprofessional. Not only did she not smile, she also answered questions with such unacceptable manners. How could you put staffs like these at the reception counter? The room was okay, spacious, with functioning AC but has a dysfunctional TV. The bedroom door latch was unfortunately not secure enough as there was some gap even after locking it. My terrible experience was then continued with my breakfast experience here. Never in my life do I have to wait for 15 minutes for breakfast buffet simply because the place was full. If you cannot afford high volume of guests at one time, then what’s the harm in making few slots for breakfast? The menu was acceptable, despite having to wait again for 10 minutes after some of the dishes were finished. Very poor management I may say. Eventually we checked out circa 11am, and just when I thought everything was okay, the receptionist called us twice at 2.30pm to confirm whether we have checked out and return the key or not. This was surprising, funny and disappointing at the same time as it reflects how poor the communication were between the staffs who handled our check out / key return process and those housekeepers. I had a better experience staying in a 1 star HOSTEL as compared to this so called HOTEL. That pretty much sums up everything you need to know about this place.

Severe Parking Problem — Outsiders & Staff Take Guest Parking, No Control I have been staying at Tanjong Vista Hotel for over two weeks — and the parking situation is completely unacceptable. There are very few parking spaces, and worse — no control or monitoring. No gate, no ticket system, no display tags, and no proper record of guest vehicles — even though there is a big sign claiming parking is “for registered hotel guests only.” When I asked the receptionist how they verify cars, she admitted there is no system and no list of guest cars. I strongly suspect outsiders are using the hotel car park to avoid council fees, and hotel staff are also parking in these limited spaces — leaving guests with nowhere to park. Even worse — the receptionist was clearly not trained in handling guest complaints. Instead of addressing the issue, her shocking reply was: “Sorry sir, management won’t listen. If you want to complain, please post on Google review.” No attempt to escalate, no apology, no solution — just asked me to publicly shame the hotel! I also asked for the manager to call me — no response to date. Every night I waste time circling for parking or parking far away after a long workday. This is the worst hotel parking experience I have ever had. If you plan to stay here with a car — avoid this hotel. Management clearly has no intention of improving the situation.

I stayed for one night on 8th July 2023... After this, I came to terengganu a lot but never stayed in this hotel. Amazing price. Great location. Parking very good. But there is no cleanliness at all. I was sleeping and at around 2:00am the aircon started leaking, Then I called the reception nd they sent a technician , The technician came and fixed the aircon leaking After 20 to 30 minutes again aircon started a Leaking So once again I called the reception and they sent a technician. When the technician came, I asked him what was the problem with the aircon, why was it leaking again and again. So he said that this hotel is very old and its air conditioners were also installed when it was built. It's not just the problem in your room, it's the same thing with everyone here, Breakfast was actually quite decent considering the price what we were paying. But even at that amazing price I would not be able to bring myself to a place like this one again.

Most of the hotel with pool was fully booked during the weekend we were there. so this hotel was one and only choice. It was our mistake, we were assigned with a smoking rooms, was a bit uneasy at first place, but it was not too bad later. The window can be open to get fresh air.||||The seaview from the room was decent. The kids love it. ||||The room was ok. It looks clean, the toilet was spacious. But the bedsheet were not superbly clean. There were some stains here and there. But we know those were old and it can be removed, so that was acceptable. They provide drinking water in the room as well. It is a 3 star hotel, which is up to the standard. But the room isn't soundproof. Sometimes you can hear kids running around at the corridor or even from the next door room. I do not complained much on this as I do have kids as well, and they do make a lot of noises... sorry neighbors.||||However, the pool was pretty small. It is an indoor pool so please expect the water to be slightly cold. The water wasn't perfectly clean but i do not blame the hotel 100%, the patrons were also responsible. Many do not really wear proper swimming attire. But at the same time, the hotel do not provide towel at the pool and do not really maintain the corridor outside the pool area to be dry. Hence, many walk with their wet attire from the pool to the room.||||The breakfast was very good. plenty of choices.they changed a couple of dishes on the second day. and the service from the staff was super fast and excellent. although it was said to be fully booked, everyone got their seats during breakfast - no queue. The restaurant isn't that big, but the turnaround service was very quick. they also replenish the...

Room ok..location is strategic near to biggest mall in terengganu mayang mall and ktcc mall also other attractions like drawbridge.there is plenty of restaurant around this hotel if u want to try local cuisine.overall i stay for two nights i can conclude that this hotel should improve their customer services especially in reception.check in time takes about 15 minutes in busy day.The reception not smile and she looks not welcoming.the second day our stay the housekeeping not change towel and tidying our room.the houskeeping only replenish coffee and tea and i don't think they change our pillow cover and bedsheet cover.the breakfast is delicious but not many choices. For me is adequate.the swimming pool is okay clean and there is small gymnasium. For 3 star hotel i think is okay..Parking lot bit small and you have to be cautious before open the door.the rate of the room i am not sure because my friend paid for it. Owh the last day before we check out my friend lost the keycard.then i ask him to look back at the cafe where we having breakfast at the first place. Then he unable to find it.my friend ask the reception. My friend told me that the receptionist said if you lost the key there is rm30 fine. my friend try do search back again eventually he ask the receptionist do someone return the card at her. What a surprise moment she just give the card to my frend without said anything.just wondering why she just give the card to my friend at the first time he asked? For me this is just a rude gesture and dishonest from the hotel staff. For travellers please make tanjong vista as your last choices.i'm not recommended this hotel if my frend want to...
