Aloha — Restaurant in Gżira

The first time I tried Aloha's food was home delivery. It was ACTUALLY the best Malta POKE BOWL I have ever eaten. They mix Asian food with Mexican food, to give tropical food. I REALLY don't understand how they can't be more reputable than this in the island regarding the quality of the food and the originality of the food concept which is delicious. So I decided to repeat the experience directly at the restaurant. We were greeted very warmly by the owner and the blonde waitress. The place is very beautifully decorated accompanied by very good music beyond the excellent service. The staff is amazing, they serve you dancing and with a smile. It is very surprising.. The food was again delicious. The maki sandwich is succulent, melting rice and seaweed... as well as the crispy chicken. Many thanks to the owner, excellent attention and special service. It is definitely an experience to go there. It deserves to have more fame but it's better for us, it keeps us a secret address...

Very tasty and unique take on Japanese, Hawaiian, and Mexican fusion.

I had the Crispy Hana Chicken, and it was really tasty, and everything in it was really fresh. A very good combination of flavors and the sauce is especially good.

The staff was also very welcoming and polite. Had the food as takeaway, and it was ready in a span of around 15 minutes, so it was really fast.

The only negatives are that the portion size is a little bit too small for the price. I expected it to be a bit bigger in size than the actual thing.

And the actual location of the restaurant is also not the best, easy to find since it has a prominent corner position. But, the neighborhood and streets around are...

Excellent! I've always wanted to try a self-picked bowl! Fresh, many possibilities of combinations, fast and tasty! You can also eat many kinds of sushi or fish. Cocktails but also beer, wine and cider are available as well as virigin cocktails, soft drinks and homemade lemonades (but: the prices are quite high). I didn't enjoy sitting in the restaurant as the chairs weren't comfortable and the space was kind of missing. Also, it's located on the side of a street so you won't find anything to glance at (but that doesn't matter in my opinion). No toilets, payment with card but also cash possible, staff is friendly.
