If you love unique coffee, Loaf in Gżira is an absolute must. I stopped by for a quick one and was genuinely impressed, the coffee here is amazing. Rich, smooth, and expertly brewed, it’s the kind of cup that makes you pause and appreciate it properly. Definitely one of the best I’ve had in the area.

I also picked up two cookies, and they were the perfect treat to go with the coffee, fresh, slightly chewy, and full of flavour. They clearly put care into even the smaller items on their menu. The quality really stands out.

Loaf has a few seats inside and a couple more outside, which gives it a cosy, tucked-away vibe. It’s not a large place, but it doesn’t need to be, it’s ideal for a quick coffee break, a casual catch-up with a friend, or even a quiet moment alone with your drink. The design is simple and modern, and the staff were friendly without being overbearing.

This place feels like a hidden gem for coffee lovers in Gżira. I’m attaching a few photos and videos I took during my visit, they speak for themselves. You can tell there’s passion behind what they do here, and it really comes through in the experience.

Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys quality coffee and a relaxing, no-fuss setting. I’ll definitely...

Today I visited Loaf in Gzira, and it was a very good experience. This place is perfect if you’re looking for excellent coffee and freshly baked treats.

I ordered a double espresso, a chocolate hazelnut croissant, and a chocolate chip cookie. The coffee was excellent - rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed using Kiss the Hippo Coffee Roasters. The chocolate hazelnut croissant was flaky and delicious, but the real standout was the chocolate chip cookie. Honestly, it’s one of the best cookies I’ve ever had - chewy, packed with chocolate, and just the right amount of sweetness. I’d highly recommend it!

They also have a great selection of other cookies, pastries, muffins, and fresh bread, so there’s plenty to choose from. If you’re a tea lover, they offer speciality brews from Brew Tea Co., with a variety of flavours available.

The coffee shop has a cosy seating area inside, as well as outdoor seating, which is perfect for enjoying your coffee in the fresh air. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff were friendly and professional, making the whole experience even better.

If you’re in Gzira and looking for high-quality coffee and amazing baked goods, Loaf is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back for another...

After a long day of touring Malta, this is where you could take a nice break and enjoy an intimate moment with friends and family in this tranquil yet central street corner in Sliema.

Kindly suggested by the friendly shop keeper Szdra (hopefully I spelled her name correctedly), I enjoyed very much a big pot of herbal tea and a matcha cake blended with red beans, rich and authentic in flavour. But during my stay in that late afternoon, I saw many people actually came all the way for the shop's signature croissants, which I didn't order because of its super big size - I personally wouldn't have any space for dinner after eating that. A must-try next time in the morning!

I love the presentation of food and drink in Loaf that pays great attention to details. And I am impressed by the provision of tablewares - my tea cup and its plate are made of stoneware, a designer minimal look along with a pleasant sense of touch. I was told these were carefully selected in London by the owners and bought back to...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Loaf , and it was an absolute delight! The brew is nothing short of amazing, with a rich and flavorful profile that caters to true coffee connoisseurs. The carefully curated selection of coffee beans offers a few exceptional options, each a testament to quality and attention to detail. What truly sets this coffee shop apart is the outstanding pastry selection. The pastries are a work of art – not only visually appealing but also a burst of exquisite flavors with every bite. From flaky croissants to decadent pastries, the attention to taste and texture is impeccable. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff add to the overall inviting atmosphere. It's evident that they are passionate about creating a memorable experience for every customer. If you're a coffee lover or simply appreciate the finer things in life, Loaf is a must-visit.
