My initial order from Yaki through Wolt was decent but didn't stand out. However, when I had the chance to visit the restaurant in person earlier this week, it was a complete game-changer. Despite the empty restaurant, the experience was top-notch—both the service and, most importantly, the food were exceptional. The starters, consisting of pork belly bao buns and tacos, were really good, with everything being very fresh. The sushi was some of the best we've ever had in Malta. The quality of the beef and tuna used to prepare the sushi was excellent. The desserts were also delicious, and they have a good selection of wines. The staff is very friendly, and the service was good. You might need to wait a bit, but you can see that all the sushi is prepared fresh upon order, which definitely makes the wait worthwhile. Really tasty food. My husband had a sushi sharing platter because of the variety, and took the leftovers home. I enjoyed the butter teriyaki chicken with garlic rice.

A couple of small things stopped it being 5 stars - the tap didn't work at all in the ladies toilet so everyone was trying to let themselves out with soap all over their hands and the lock was slippery. Also, the sushi was coming out quicker than the hot plates, so a few tables including us were waiting a while for everything to arrive. My husband started eating maybe 10 minutes...
