Just stopped for a quick double whiskey. Prices are cheap, the lady at the bar is very friendly and the music is good. This is a local bar, but they accepted us even if we're not local. Snacks were included with our drinks, what a lovely surprise!

Grasshoopper is a quaint local bar with such a hive of personality. Very dog friendly and well poured drinks. Nibbles are certainly on flow and you won't be disappointed by their selection.

Just stopped for a quick double whiskey. Prices are cheap, the lady at the bar is very friendly and the music is good. This is a local bar, but they accepted us even if we're not local. Snacks were included with our drinks, what a lovely surprise!

A MUST visit if you are in Malta. The village Lija is quaint and timeless. The quiet roads and alleys are so peaceful day and night. It takes you back in time 500 years as do the buildings and houses. This bar is at the centre, so much activity and you are made to feel so at home by the owner and locals. Everyone will be talking to you asking where you are from then telling all the good things about where you came from. Make sure you talk to Sonny the owner and his wife , you will make instant friends. It is must do on every visit to...

Sure win for an authentic family run bar scene. A very well catered for clientele, smothered with genuine drinks out a large shelf selection. On top of the ample drinking selection, patrons are delighted with an abundant selection of drink oriented nibbles, that go well along with a refreshing drink.
