Lija Bocci Clubhouse — Restaurant in Lija

1 hour and 20 minutes... Never waited so long for a burger in my life... And not being a life changing one, definitely not worth waiting for... We were a group, ordered for 1pm, the place opened at that time so "our table wasn't ready" although the place was completely empty... Finally our table was ready after 45 minutes... We had to order at the cash basically one couple at the time and the kitchen was preparing one order at the time (one ticket in, no work on other order until the previous is out) : so we all ate at different times basically ... When asked for out orders, waiter trying to be useful, guy behind the cash totally useless and rude... What was more disturbing was to see our orders coming out so slowly, while some kitchen personnel was simply seated at a table discussing with someone else... The fries were...

The Lija Bocci club is a terrible place were to hang out. On the occasion another table had a birthday party. All attention was diverted on them. This left our table waiting for more than 2 hours for the food the arrive. Once the food arrived there was the wrong order and it was handed out over a period of 30 minutes.

My vegetarian friend ordered a cheesy pizza which was mistaken for a capricciosa pizza. The waiter arrogantly told him that he either took the capricciosa or nothing.

Furthermore another person from our group order a maltese pizza which never came. When we complain the same waiter retorted it was not his fault. It came very late when almost the entire party was finished eating.

The food was good but nothing to rave home about. Overall bad experience do...

Food was ok. Service was horrible. Left waiting for around an hour and then the waiter came up to our table to tell us that the chef made the wrong pizza; I ordered a cheesy pizza and he apparently cooked a capricciosa instead. He asked if this was ok and I told him it wasn’t because I wanted the cheesy pizza that I ordered. Since I’m vegetarian and the capricciosa had ham on it, I could not accept this even if I wanted to. The waiter later came to say, in the most arrogant of ways, that all pizzas are finished and I either take the capricciosa or nothing at all. I reluctantly accepted because I was hungry and it was late, and to my surprise the pizza had no ham on it anyway. Will not recommend and will...
