Highly recommended. A small restaurant. For the food I give 4 stars, for the service I give 5 I ordered daily specials. It was a huge portion for one person.Mussels and calamaris were good, fish was a little too plain to me, I personally prefer more flavoured food. Bread starter was offered free of charge, which was a surprise. I don’t know if it’s offered at any time or just during off season. Bread is normal, the sides of fish and tomatoes were delicious

Service was top. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. When I ordered juice, the girl explained me it was bottle juice, not fresh. Very attentive to the details. Waiter/waitress were quick at the beginning, but went a little slower in the end. Still, among all restaurants I’ve tried in Malta, they offered the best service. They also disinfect the toilet every hour, which I didn’t see in other restaurants, which increased definitely the point

We found this place based on reviews and even went in advance to have a guaranteed table booked. However we could find only 1h spot due to other reservation. It was fine by us, the only thing they mentioned was that fish of the day can't be cooked whole due to lack of time. Again, we were fine with it - let it be fillets. What we were absolutely not ok with is the outcome and staff reaction: Starters came waaaay after the main course Fish fillets were boiled, not baked Aljotta tasted like rice and seafood were cooked separately and then just poured some instant hot water with drip of tomato on. Honestly, cheap instant soups have more flavor than this one We politely informed staff that food quality is below expectation - no reaction except "oh, it's very popular here, strange". And no change, excuse or compensation was offered.
