Came here for Karaoke. She was supposed to be the best Karaoke host on the island but I disagree. My father was a karaoke host for many years and he always said the host should only sing when there are few people singing ie fill time and as a karaoke junkie I totally agree. This host started by singing 5 songs in a row when there were already requests by people in the bar. So it felt more like a concert for the karaoke host. Then when people were actually finally allowed to sing, between each song there was a music video which again wastes time. If I wanted to listen to non karaoke music I wouldn’t have come so it was basically a 50% karaoke night. And yes later on in the night the host sang again despite requests still in the queue. Despite all this I was able to sing a few songs but only due to the fact that only the same few people were singing. If there were lots of people singing and lots of requests I expect many people wouldn’t get a chance to sing their song due to so much time wasted in between the song requests with music videos. Hopefully this was purely because the host could see the requests weren’t enough to keep going til the end but impossible to know for sure unless I went there regularly. Regardless of these critiques 50% karaoke is better than...
Read moreTried a ribye steak and it was cheaper and better than the one I tried in Mitħna & Belleview restaurants which are close by. The salad and roasted potatoes were perfect.
I wish it was more upper class though. It seems to be targeting Irish/British customers but I wish it was more universal and upper class. I am personally not into the beer drinking/football watching culture myself.
The default cooking oil for food is vegetable oil which is cheap/unhealthy, but you can request a different one.
It would be nice if they would expand their menu with options like fresh juice, omelette, chicken and/or fish soup etc.
To sum up, if they were less focused on being a "cheap sports bar" with football caps and scarves hanging at the ceiling and more of an upper class cafe/restaurant/place to hang out, then it would be awesome. The end of the restaurant (which is quite big if you keep going) looks more stylish & more of my style than the entrance area.
It has a very friendly community and you can play pool and darts there (current Christmas tree looks very nice). If they will take my feedback into account that would be great. Now for me it is a good option to get something to eat but wish it was a place where you could bring your friends who are not into...
Read moreReflections Sports Pub and Grill is a total gem! It has a vibey atmosphere that's perfect whether you're out with friends or just catching a game solo. The place has a great selection of sports showing across multiple TVs, so you’re never missing a moment, no matter where you're sitting.
On top of that, the prices are super cheap, especially considering the big portions they serve. You definitely get great value for money here, tasty food, generous servings, and a solid drink menu that won’t break the bank.
Highly recommend if you're looking for a chill spot to enjoy sports, food, and...
