Istanbul Kebab House — Restaurant in Naxxar

The chicken donair kebap is really really bad, it's usually very dry and you can see last days chicken still in the donair grill ready to be sold the next day. Its usual also to find little pieces of bone in the chicken wrap and that clearly shows the bad quality of the meat used. also the chips usually are not fresh, I don't know how long they keep them until they sell them but they have the most disgusting stale chips I have ever tried. Not sure about the rest of the dishes they offer because generally I try to avoid restaurants that serve last days left overs...

The food was very subpar. Fries were bad (seemed like triple fried), pita seemed to be the packet one and the pizza dough was very weird, as if two thin sheets of dough were put on top of each other (you could literally peel it). We left the majority of the pizza on the plate and ate the doner out of pure hunger. The outdoor area is nice with a breeze and the salad is good. Definitely not value for money, you can get much better doner (and more abundant) for...

Ordered from time to eat at the Sliema place, but that appears to be closed and the delivery appeared on the map like it came from naxxar, so I'm just going to assume they took my order. Pizza was cold, already cut and scattered all over the box, hummus was quite runny and I ordered a spicy adana but got a normal one. Ate anyway, the food wasn't bad, but the state it was delivered in and the order quality...
