I was born in Thailand. I ordered through Bolt because I've been traveling for a year and really miss home Thai cooking. I was so impressed the food here reminded me of home cooking! I ordered the Massaman Curry - Chicken, Thai spring rolls, and ginger stir fry with chicken. First off the curry, was made with perfection. You can tell it was made with love. The balance of the coconut milk and broth is one of the most difficult balances most Thai restaurants cannot accomplish, Tikka does this well! The Thai spring rolls actually have noodles in them, what! This is the authentic way a Thai egg roll is made. It's quite rare to experience this level of authenticity. The ginger stir fry is very under rated The picture and description online does no justice for the actual dish. It has bell peppers, white onions, black mushroom (impressive) and other veggies typical for Thai dishes. If you want elevated flavors and authentic Thai food, this is an...

Never eat at this restaurant if you do not want to get seriously poisoned!

On a Sunday night, my friend and I found this place on Google maps and decided to take a takeaway. We are students on practice, so we chose the option of 10 minutes from our apartments. We ordered pad thai noodles and rice with shrimp. The next morning, we suffered from diarrhoea and nausea, which turned into a fountain of vomit. We had a fever, pain all over the body, and couldn't even drink water.

We were taken to the hospital, where we were given two drips and prescribed a lot of medicines. And most importantly, how long we have been suffering... and this is the third day. Owners of the place, be human, cover our medical bills! And stop poisoning people!

We can send screenshots, as well as a cheque, by mail to anyone...

Great spot for authentic Thai food in Malta.

I’m gluten free and can find that a challenge at some restaurants but the staff were excellent in pointing out what I could and couldn’t eat. I loved the Thai green curry, very tasty and spicy, just like the ones I had in Thailand. My partner loved his pad thai and spring rolls.

The place is very casual, but that makes the experience all the more authentic. Don’t expect a fancy restaurant but a clean, tasty spot for good food that’s very affordable. Service was really fast. From what we could tell, the staff are Thai (or at least were speaking a mix of Thai and Maltese)...

Tikka’s has grown in presence in its usual unassuming yet influential manner. What started as a hole in the wall takeout place in San Gwann, it eventually opened a similar joint in Naxxar and now it’s come up with a dine in place in Ta Xbiex. It is small, but so welcoming. Loved the vibe as soon as we walked in and the hostess welcomed us warmly. Order taken in no time and the soups arrived soon after piping hot. The flavors of the Tam Yam and Galanga soups were amazing. The rice and noodle dishes were just bursting with flavors as well. One word of warning- go hungry (or ask to take away what you can’t eat there)
