He firstly organised a cocktail at Bisou, the beautiful and breathtaking rooftop bar looking over the ocean, then lead me to my table.
Chef Ram Rai and his masterful team, made me his version of a pescatarian 8 course menu and is was an unparalleled dining experience. He made great effort to visit my table often with the food, explaining each intricate dish and flavour, I can undoubtedly say it was one of he best seafood culinary experiences I've ever had, which is tough comparing to restaurants like FYN, PIER and Chefs Warehouse in Cape Town where I am from.
The sommelier elevated the experience even further, expertly pairing wines that complement and enhance every course. As I am from South Africa with some of the best wines, he expertly knew every region, and my glass was never empty.
