Tasty food cooked to order on the grill. The atmosphere and service is nothing special but I enjoyed the meal, and the wine and cocktail list was good for Mauritius. While it is on the pricier side, the portions are extremely generous, and I could have shared my grilled fish and calamari main. The sauces were surprisingly good - I enjoyed the pepper sauce and the hot chilli sauce served with the rice and potatoes accompaniment. Read moreGrille and Chill is a cozy and charming restaurant located in the northern part of Mauritius. I really appreciated the warm welcome and inviting atmosphere. The place tends to get quite busy on weekends. We enjoyed a main course of marlin and vegetables, paired with one of their delicious cocktails. The service was prompt and efficient. A highlight was the live grilling of fish right in front of the restaurant, which added a fun and engaging touch. I was delighted to celebrate my birthday there — truly a great find and an excellent choice. Highly recommended for a night out!
