Deserve NO STAR AT ALL!
I visited Nando’s Grand Baie La Croisette last night with my family for dinner. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.
We arrived at 8:45 PM and placed our order promptly. However, despite waiting for over an hour, our food was not served, nor were we informed of any delays. Effective communication is an essential part of customer service, and being left in the dark about such a delay is unacceptable. Had we been informed, we could have decided whether to wait or make alternative arrangements.
After more than an hour, we called a waiter to inquire about the delay. He assured us the food would arrive in two minutes. Yet, even after waiting an additional 5-10 minutes, the food was still not served. Upon asking again, we were told it would take another 10 minutes. Frustrated and out of patience, we decided to leave, informing the waiter of our decision.
What followed was even more disappointing. As we left, the waiter ran after us and accused us of breaking drinking glasses in the restaurant. This accusation was baseless and deeply offensive. When we suggested reviewing the CCTV footage to verify the claim, they refused and instead offered an apology, admitting they had made a mistake.
This entire incident was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. Accusing customers without proper evidence is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the staff’s training and judgment.
I hope Nando’s management addresses these serious issues to ensure better service and professionalism in the future. My family and I were regular patrons, but this experience has left us hesitant...
Read moreI recently dined at a Nando's restaurant that left me extremely disappointed. The poor service we encountered throughout our visit was truly appalling. It took a frustratingly long time for someone to even acknowledge our presence and take our order, forcing us to wait for more than 15 minutes.
To make matters worse, the staff seemed disinterested and apathetic. Whenever we tried to get their attention, they were too busy passing our order from one person to another, leaving us feeling neglected and unimportant. It was incredibly frustrating to be constantly overlooked to received prompt attention.
When the food finally arrived, we were shocked at the lackluster presentation. The plates were carelessly stacked on top of each other, as if the staff expected us to serve ourselves. This demonstrated a complete disregard for customer care and attention to detail.
The taste of the food itself was only average. It lacked the flavors and quality that I have come to expect from Nando's restaurants around the world. The meal lacked the signature bold and succulent flavors that I have always enjoyed elsewhere.
Overall, I must say that this particular Nando's branch was the worst I have ever experienced. The combination of poor service and the average tasting food made for an extremely underwhelming dining experience. As a result, I have no intention of ever returning to this location on...

First the food, my sister does not eat chilli. Her go to is Lemon and Herb sauce. We were informed today that hey, tHeRe'S cHiLli In LeMoN aNd HeRb! When we sent it back, there was no sauce on it. Same with the corn on the cob! We were very understanding when they told us there was no halloumi cheese, if you don't have sauce, LET US KNOW! She'd have taken something else! Also, in the Meditaranean Espetada, no cheese, no veg except for onions... Standards are so much lower than at Phoenix or Bagatelle. Second, the service. Being understaffed happens! Being rude is not okay! Photo in proof, the waitress spilled fanta on our table, missed my phone only because a napkin was in it, she did not even say anything! Also, usually we don't even need to ask for a refill, she asked ALL the tables around us if they wanted a refill, our glasses sat empty for a long time but she never asked us if we wanted one. When we finally asked for a refill, it took a while and spillage story from above. Service matters!
