Birrieria El Kiro — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Excellent clean roadside birria joint near Mercado Nicolas Bravo. Our food was piping hot (which means it's very safe for travelers!) and everything was fresh and delicious. We had the quesabirria, the regular tacos and the burritos, which are much simpler than an American style burrito, just meat inside a homemade wheat tortilla wrapped and grilled to order. The tortillas here are on another level. Served with a caddy of cabbage, onions, cilantro and lime and some excellent salsas. Less than $3 per item. We’ve been here several times and I always forget to write a review. We LOVE it here. Everything we’ve gotten is so delicious! Today, we helped them them adjust their hours of operation here on Google. Ruben (Kiro) also gave us a brief education on this non-venomous, docile snake that is native to the area and beaches. He encourages people to not kill them. Definitely recommend you visiting! They’re now open 7 days a week...

So glad I found this place as it has the best Birria I have eaten. Meat so tender, complimentary consomme piping hot, tables to eat outside, and service so friendly I felt like a regular.
