Costa Azul Beach — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

The beach is easy to access from the main road. A lot of parking space. The toilet is just a plastic cubical style. There are a few restaurants along the beach. When we were here, there were less people. We were actually at another beach closer to Cabo San Lucas earlier that day but it got busier and louder so we decided to move and at last found peace here for the rest of the afternoon. Great beach for laying around or catching the surf break. It is work to walk the beach, due to either slope or soft sand. I open water swim here = 100s of meters offshore where it is deep. In 5 swims I counted over 80 sting rays (3 schools of 20). Last Sunday a young teen received a very nasty barb into her back. Be careful playing in the surf! Don't bother snorkeling here - go up the coast to Chileno or...

No swimming here - late breaking strong surf.... Undertow. Saw two folks ignore the red flag warning - one was taken out on a back board, the other didn't fare much better. The beach was clean with very few visitors. If you just want to sunbathe of fly a kite, you'll enjoy the solitude and open space available. Horseback rides are available...
