A hidden gem off the beaten path yet close to the town's center. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. She speaks little english, but we managed to understand each other despite my terrible spanish. The food is made fresh and is absolutely delicious. It was the best meal I had in Mexico. I visited on a Tuesday morning and ordered the special, Sopes. The food is cheap and the location is great. The outdoor seating area is like an oasis. It is a beautiful garden with flowering plants and birds chirping and flitting about. Succulents adorn the simple wood tables. Light music plays on a portable speaker. If you are visiting Loreto, make sure to visit Dory Luz. You will not be disappointed with this...

Super cute outdoor restaurant under a palapa in a garden. Menu is simple but authentic Mexican food for cheap prices (something near impossible to find in Loreto). Tacos are 25, 3 burritos for 60, waffles and fruit for 60, or they also do a daily special with beans for 80. Coffee is very yummy and organic for 20 and they give every table free chips and salsa!! Food is delicious and fresh tasting.

Will be going back for more soon! it is extremely inexpensive as well, 1/2 the cost of any of the places...
