I was warned by our friends that the food was good but that the service was very slow. We arrived after 9pm and several items we were interested in like lasagna and a pasta dish they were out of. For starters we ordered a salad but this did not come till after most all of the entrees came. We had an order of raviolis with a boloñesa sauce and it was really good. Also had the chicken Parmesan with pesto fettuccini. The chicken parm was excellent but the Pesto fettuccini was very watered down and was disappointing. We had five different pizzas and they were pretty good, although the crust was very hard but overall a decent pizza. The last entree was ordered by the same person as the salad and was a fish dish. The fish was overcooked but overall a decent plate of food. For desert we had some tasty lemoncello gelato and a a very good crepe. Small but effective wine list. We had a couple of tasty Carmenere wines from Chile and the prices were very reasonable for the wines. Service is very slow and none of the plates came out at the same time which can be difficult but all of the staff was helpful and happy. I will note that the prices are very reasonable which is a plus and the food overall was very good. I would definitely return again. I know they can improve their coordination and service but I still recommend because the food was very good overall and the prices you cannot...
Read moreAfter seeing and reading many good reviews we wanted to try their pastas/gnocchi. The First night we went to try the pasta but they were closing earlier than their closing time on google and told us only pizza and lasagna are available. We had two pizzas, they were meh and quite small. Next day, still wanting to try their pasta, we got there around 6, took around 25-30 min for them to take the order, around 45 min to bring the food and like 15 min to bring the check... pretty slow and terrible service. We ordered Gnocchi al Pesto and Milanesa montevidean. The gnocchi they brought us was not what we ordered and we realized that a few bites after. We informed the waitress and she said sorry but offered no correction or amends to the situation. Milanesa was so dry and lacking flavor, it was bad. Lastly, I expected they wouldn’t charge us for the plate they brought us by mistake. But no, they did and when I contested they said that I should have returned the plate immediately when they brought it, before eating any of it... customer service at its finest! Oh and I don’t understand why the high prices ($15 USD) (that’s pretty steep for Mexico) for the tasteless dishes and terrible customer...
Read moreCute corner spot, decent service, but the food was very disappointing. I had seen all the reviews saying there are lots of vegan options and was excited to have vegan pizza and empanadas. Unfortunately the server said they don’t have vegan cheese, and strangely she acted as if they never have it. She said the green “V” next to those 12 dishes on the menu means they will make it vegan by omitting the cheese(even though the menu said it means vegan.) Cheeseledd pizza didn’t sound satisfying so I ordered the tofu salad, which was acceptable but it cost more than a pizza and was not nearly enough food. It would have been better with bread to bulk it up, and maybe added corn or something. Other reviewers mentioned vegan cheese, which was the whole reason I chose this restaurant, but instead I left hungry and disappointed. Don’t like complaining but just wanted to make sure no one else has this experience. Since all the good menu options require cheese, if you’re vegan make sure to ask if they have vegan cheese when you arrive,...
