Claudias Margaritas Loreto — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Good margarita, nice atmosphere outside. But bizarrely rude interaction with the male bartender with tattoos. I’d ordered my margarita 15 minutes ago and when he brought two margaritas to the table we asked to clarify which ones they were because the other two people ordered long after I did. He snapped at me what kind and that they weren’t mine, and that mine was still coming then rolled his eyes. The way he said it, you’d think I’d asked 20 times already but I hadn’t said anything else. It was awkward because we were just trying to clarify which drinks they were. I figured maybe they’d forgotten about mine. Mine took over 20 minutes. We came to Claudia's to test the margaritas. It was said on TripAdvisor that these were the best in Loreto.

I ordered the cheeseburger there but there wasn't much flavor other than the taste the bun. Not much seasoning in the meat though it was a thick patty. The bun flavor, which was just white bread essentially, overtook the flavor of everything else. It's too bad.

The margarita was a little disappointing as well. I came here specifically to test the theory that it was the best margarita in Loreto. It was not.

Kids ordered blended frozen drinks and they were pretty much flavorless except for the virgin dirty monkey. Strawberry daiquiri tasted like frozen ice along with the virgin Miami vice.

Firstly I want to say that the tradicional margaritas we had were very good. Service pretty good. Getting your bill after, slow but that’s not unique to this establishment.

My main complaint: we visited twice, once in evening and thoroughly enjoyed our 100 peso margarita. Next day prior to flying back home decided to have another. Unfortunately a cruise ship had landed and when we got our cuenta (bill) the same margarita was 150 pesos. Nothing to do with happy hour or anything. Just simply gouging the turistas coming off the boat who don’t know better.
