I originally came to Cabo in February of 2020 for a 6 week vacation. I was staying at the Hampton Inn which is also located in the Koral Center. The first bar/restaurant I visited was Esquina Cantina, as it had a inviting and intriguing vibe. The General Manger (Marcos) made me and every other guest feel right at home. One of the cool things about Esquina Cantina is the Margarita happy hour which is all day long, two for one priced delicious Margaritas. The food here is the real deal. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I strongly recommend their tacos. But that’s not all, this is a legit Tex Mex Cantina, which you can order la comida to your liking off the menu.
Moreover for the those of you who are Tequila and/or Mezcal aficionados, this is heaven. To be sure, Jimmy Buffet would feel right at home here. Marcos is an extremely well versed man when it come to this topic. On multiple occasions I have been privy to his sharing/tasting of theses high quality libations frequently with his long standing amigos, as well as tourists.
On a final note the wait staff is bilingual in English and Spanish. And they never fail to greet you with a pleasant smile...

Dude, give me at least two minutes to take a look at the menu. Secondly, my shredded beef taco I ordered turned out to be shredded fish taco. Third and final straw, I was served undercooked shrimp. That was really NOT OK. I took one bite out of the taco and noticed the texture was off. When I looked in the taco, the shrimp was still Grey. This indicates that the shrimp was not cooked. The waiter also agreed with me that the shrimp was not cooked. But he proceeded to ask me "raw shrimp is not good?" no sir, I do not want a listeria infection and sit on a toilet for the rest of my vacation. This is not ceviche.... Read moreI can’t say anything bad about the food. My complaint would be about the service. First, the server messed up my order, which happens if there is a language barrier… not a big deal. I said something to my server about my order being wrong and he did not fix it. That was annoying. Second, after eating I went to pay my parking ticket, but the machine does not accept pesos larger than 50. Since I just ate there, I asked someone from the business (he was literally counting money on a table) if he could give me change for for 100 pesos (less than $6 USD). He told me no. Haha. Are you serious? I tried to explain to the guy I just ate at the business and needed smaller change to pay the parking machine. He ignored me.
