In the heart of Todos Santos, thereâs a place that doesnât just meet expectations â it redefines them: LA COPA, the signature bar at Hotel Todos Santos.
From the very first step inside, you realize youâre not just in a bar â youâre stepping into the vision of trailblazer Jacobo Batarse. A shoe and finance mogul, the mind behind Agricole in Pescadero, and now the creator of what can only be described as an iconic jewel of Baja California Sur. His taste is impeccable, his ambition fearless, and his investment has created a bar destined to become legendary.
đŸ Pet-friendly with style: At La Copa, even your dogs âwell-behaved and on a leashâ are welcomed like part of the family.
đ· The kitchen and wine program at Hotel Todos Santos? World-class. Every dish is edible art, and the wine list is curated with jewelerâs precision â bold, intentional, unforgettable.
đž But La Copa is the heartbeat. Hereâs the masterstroke: the mixologists at La Copa are on the same rare level as my own teams at Outpost in Cabo San Lucas and Milky Beach Club on Medano Beach. Expect liquid poetry in every glass, cocktails that tell stories, and a bar that radiates creativity, elegance, and soul.
âš And the staff? Simply extraordinary. Juventino, Jonathan & Brandon behind the bar are masters of their craft â mixing, shaking, and pouring with the precision of artists and the warmth of old friends. And letâs not forget Gloria, the hostess, whose smile sets the tone for the entire evening and makes every guest feel like they truly belong.
đ€ Then, the magic moment: the legendary Monique â a regular at Flora Farms and Outpost Cabo â takes the stage here too. Her voice wraps around the night, turning an evening into one of those memories youâll hold onto forever.
As someone who owns the iconic Outpost in Cabo San Lucas, created Milky Beach Club on Medano Beach, won the Latin Food Festival in San Diego, and began my career as a professional DJ over 30 years ago, Iâve seen, built, and tasted the very best. And I can say this with certainty: La Copa at Hotel Todos Santos is in that rarefied league.
Bottom line: La Copa isnât just the best bar in Todos Santos and La Paz â itâs a destination, a landmark, and a love letter to vision, hospitality, and great taste.
â Thank you, Jacobo for the gift thar you made to...
Read moreWe came here looking for a cocktail, assuming that based on the reviews and photos that there would be robust offerings by experienced bartenders. Unfortunately this place fell flat. The drink menu was limited and for all the various ingredients visible, the bartender could not go off piste and suggest something to fit our drink preferences. The drink ordered was quite syrupy and made with flat Topo Chico. For $320 MXN I personally think they should have been able to crack a fresh bottle of sparkling water. We suspected the bartender was somewhat new, but there were half a dozen staff members floating around, so was surprised to see no one else lending a hand given that we were the only folks in the bar. We thought it a little strange that we were sat at the bar despite a room full of empty tables. We had planned to order food, but were too off put by the drink experience that we opted not to. Maybe this was a great place for a drink at sometime in the past - and has potential to be a nice option - but itâs really lost its lustre. Too many great places to choose from in Todos for this one to be at the top...
Read moreGreat experience - very speakeasy. I wouldn't change a thing. What I appreciate the most of this place is the old authentic décor. It feels real, not pretentious - the clientele here are the people who can pay for a good drink and stay the evening enjoying a good chat with the great cocktail masters that work there. This is not a place for cheap tourists or cheap loud music. An extremely nice jewel in Todos Santos. Please make sure to go and the the beautiful wood bar and décor - say hello to the bartenders -go for a drink and you will leave with a...
