NIKKO SUSHI BAR — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

I'm not going to give it a low rating and bring this business down just by basing it on my own personal opinion as an American. This restaurant is catering sushi to locals. Hence why all the high ratings are probably coming from locals. However, I will say that if you are an American looking for sushi then look elsewhere. This is not American sushi that you might be use to. They make up their own version of sushi that to me personally does not make sense, taste very weird, and doesn't work. They do things like deep fried sushi, put cooked beef inside sushi and they fold their dumplings/pot stickers like an empanada (Trust me I know that is not how dumplings should look Im Asian :)

If you are Mexican and you like that kind of stuff then cool! Keep rocking it! But if you are American/Asian/European stay away.

Overall, their service was pretty good, the vibe was tolerable since we sat outside in patio, they tried to make the presentation of the food look good, the decor was tacky and the food...well you already know.

I personally would give this place 1/5...

Mala experiencia, no lo recomiendo, soy amante del sushi y no les aconsejo gastar su dinero acá. El menú dice cangrejo y el sushi trae kanikama (es un sucedaneo), si es un sushi profesional debería decir la verdad. Los sushis que traen pescado adentro , traen un trocito pequeñisimo y más de 2 cortes venían sin pescado. El valor es elevado para rollos tan pequeños, poco contenido, y sin un sabor que valga la pena. Por último ( a consideración personal) no puede ser que a estas alturas te sirvan la sopa caliente en platos plásticos, es atentar contra la salud de las personas, por esos valores, mínimamente deberían tener platos de cerámica y así no comernos todo el microplastico que se desprende de esos materiales de tan mala calidad. Peor sushi...

Best place..i went for my anniversary and they helped me in everything i need..decoration on the dessert plate and they also put my music once they brought the plate to my table..i highly...
