Café Love — Restaurant in Baja California

To be completely honest I was a bit skeptical about this place due to the fact that it is located right next to a sex store. Perhaps it is just my weird mind. However, the food is exquisite! The theme of the place its very intimate and it serve its name. Nice water fountain and fish tank taht makes the place very cozy. The price is SUPER accessible, I had the octopus burger and it was DELICIOUS. my wife had a ciabatta sandwich with a salad of the day, we had a few wine glasses and we shared a dessert and the check was a little over $28 usd. I will definitely be coming back soon. Hope this helps.

Oh! By the way, i would suggest to not bring kids. This place it's for couples or a group of friends to share a coffee or wine, don't kill the moment with tantrums or cryings.

Estoy muy sorprendido con este lugar. No me imaginé, que , escondido en una esquina, dentro de una plaza comercial , sobre la vía rápida poniente, de Tijuana, se podría encontrar un lugar con tan agradable y con un nivel de cocina, que no le pide nada a otros lugares, de renombre. Para comenzar la experiencia, la arquitectura del lugar, es innovadora. Me encantó de sobremanera el uso de materiales orgánicos y de madera. Mención especial requiere , el que tienen un sinfín de plantas comestibles sembradas en macetas, y cada una tiene su respectiva identificación. Yo me sentí, como dentro de un huerto orgánico, de esos que se pueden encontrar en Tecate, o en el Valle de Guadalupe. Pasemos ahora al servicio. Los meseros están siempre atentos, son muy amables y conocen muy bien los productos que están en la carta. En cuanto al sazón, este cumplió con cualquier expectativa que yo pudiese haber tenido, e incluso, la superó. Recomiendo ampliamente la sopa de cebolla, así como la ensalada del huerto. Las bebidas , sobre todo los cafés, pueden sin problema ser la envidio de otros lugares que tienen nombres internacionales. Los precios, están muy adecuados. Al estar en una plaza comercial, el lugar para estacionar el automóvil, nunca falta. No se requiere reservación. Felicito al propietario del lugar, por su buen gusto, la dedicación que le ha puesto al establecimiento, y quiero decirle que me impresionó de sobremanera , la pecera con corales vivos, que tiene en la parte interna del restaurante. Terrible experience. Been to this place before for the food but the service is horrid. I brought a party of five and they didn’t have any tables available and refused to put two empty tables together for us. Mind you, they had a lot of free tables. They wanted to make us wait over an hour and a half to get a table for 6. And the girl at the front is simply stupid, it took her forever to ask the manager for help and was just standing there staring at us while we waited in the cold....
