CARNITAS DON JOSE — Restaurant in Baja California

This is the definition of a good whole in the wall establishment. The decor leaves a bit to be desired but it's not about that and it serves its purpose to deliver good food.

The service is always good and attentive, the quality and taste is really good, won't say it's the best carnitas in TJ but it's damn good.

The value is amazing and you get a really good amount of food.

Always satisfied when eating here. Would recommend especially in supporting a small neighborhood business...

I Was in the area and decided to stop by. The gentleman/owner was very welcoming. I ordered to dine in. He offered una orden which included carnitas, cueritos and buche. Along with beans, hand made tortilla, salsa and your choice of drink. The food was more than I expected. Warm, savory, fresh and delicious all for $8.00 😳 Definitely will come back...

Están aceptables las carnitas, pero en mi experiencia no las mejores que he probado. La carnita maciza estaba decente pero los cueritos estaban duritos. Mi calificación no es tanto por el sabor, es por lo que ofrecen; las tortillas son pequeñas, la orden viene con 3 rebanaditas de aguacate, no trae verdura picada (trae rabanos viejos, cebolla cambray entera y 2 chiles serrano enteros), la cantidad de la orden de carnitas se me hizo poquito por 140 pesos. Solo tienen sodas y agua natural :( Es un lugar pequeño y no había agua en los baños. He ido a otros lugares, por ejemplo MI CHANTE y estan muy ricas, el lugar mas grande y lindo, te ofrecen mas guarniciones, cebolla y cilantro picado, guacamole, frijoles, tortillas mas grandes, estan un poco mas caras (unos $30 pesos mas la orden, trae mas carnitas), pero comes...
