Over the last 4 years we have visited Magoni at least 100 times or more. The staff is just amazing to us and remember our names. Shout out to Gladis, Hiram, Joshua and all of the team. Thanks for taking great care of us, we spend special days at the Tree, birthdays, holidays, we bring the family sometimes but it is mostly just Laura and I. The wine is really good and the atmosphere has been improving with every visit, honestly, its getting to big, I liked it more when it was smaller but I understand that things grow bigger and the expansion allows more people to enjoy. The music on the weekends is good, starts at 1 pm. We arrive at opening most days (11am) after 3 or sometimes more bottles we call it a day. Most people go to the Valle and jump around all over trying to rush it,....NOT US! we just go to Magoni, it is very special and its all about relaxing. Lots of dogs, so bring some treats for them. The deli is open now, a few types sandwiches and of course olives and cheese...and some other cool things.
A few things, make a reservation in advance, let them know your coming. Bring a throw blanket, it can get cool under the tree. Eat a big breakfast, the wine can sneak up on you. Go during the week and maybe have the tree to yourself, it has happened for us and we stayed all day till it closed that time.
FYI, don't sit down before checking the dust on the chairs etc, not a big deal for me, but my Girl she gets little mad about it.
Magoni is on many wine list in Mexico, the Tijuana restaurateur can easily swing past the Zona Rio Hub to stock up on a few cases!!! Enjoy...
Read moreThis is so far my favorite wiener in Valle. Great service with very welcoming and easy going staff who really goes out of their way. The manager was very helpful in finding a table for us even though we didn’t have a reservation. The place is beautiful and tree setting is unbelievable. The day we went they had live music. The wine is really good too....
Gracias...
