Hipódromo Tacos — Restaurant in Baja California

This will be my forever place. The flavor profile is Sonoran. My favorite tacos are the tongue, suadero, and tripas(they only serve these taco options after 4pm, so best time to get there is 430)Every time I visit Hermosillo Mexico, I try to find the same profile taste. I have yet to find it back from my childhood. Restaurant we use to go to went to crap after the dad died and the kids took over. So I’m finally at peace and no longer having to search high and low. The staff are very attentive and making sure we always have a toco in had. Always cleaning up our table as we are eating. Starting from the front all the way to the restroom it is very clean. My only complaint is parking there is a nightmare. It’s on the strip with a bunch of other businesses so parking is very very limited. Must be patient and know how to parallel park lol. We got to the restaurant early, but Emilio was missing so we decided to wait for him outside. When Emilio arrived, I was excited and said to myself " I will be tasting taquitos with my friends”. The waitress came in and we were excited to order a taco of asada because it was Emilio’s first time trying them. We ended up liking them, the tortilla was a little bit soft, the meat was really tasty but then i said to my friend that the avocado was missing some species, and it was salt. I gave them a 3 out of 5, because the service was really good, we were on the waitlist but then we were catered too fast, I said, omg we will be eating in the restaurant on a table of four. We thought that the tacos HIPODROMO were with a regular price but we stopped for a second and thought we might have already spent too much money for only 2 tacos. When we went to the restaurant, it was full, I thought the tacos were going to have something special, a good flavor, maybe some special ingredient, or a special preparation, but it was just a normal taco, but a good one. I think the service was really quick, I mean, we will have eaten the food and the waiter give us the bill and don’t because he want us to leave, it was because although there were a lot of people when we ordered, they gave the food to us very quickly. The tortilla is very tasty, it has a very special flavor because is handmade, and the meat is not that bad, but the taquería Hipodromo must improve the flavor of the guacamole because it doesn´t taste like anything.
