Tijuanazo Hipódromo — Restaurant in Baja California

Taco Nazo, definitly a good taco place most the time. This location is not my favorite as there is a stressful parking situation and also, the last 3 times I ordered Uber Eats from here, later at night, after 10pm. The agua frescas have been spoiled! Not sure if they are not refrigerating them, or perhaps they run out and use the old stuff but they are by far undrinkable and possibly dangerous The Jaimaca tasted like old wine and was rancid. The coco con nuez, same thing on two occasions. I've wasted money on 6 undrinkable agua frescas. I don't like to give bad reviews specially with a good place but 3 times, the same issue, maybe this is happening to others and with this review it will stop and will actually be good for business. If you want to make it up to me, I'll accept a refund for the aguas, 6 in total. And also I didn't receive my full order for tacos with UberEats, not sure how much frescas are but my best guess is 300mxn including the missing tacos order is what I've lost over the...

It was too delicious for photos.. so in the first round I ordered 1 Carne Asada taco, 1 taco de adobada and 1 taco de Birria to start. On round 2 i ordered 3 tacos de Birria, 2 tacos de adobada and 1 taco de asada. Let's start with the bottom up. The Carne asada taco was a bit under toasted for my liking but it was okay. The adobada tacos were toasted and juicy which i don't know how they did it but it tasted really good. The tacos de birria were meaty, juicy and the salsa was the right amount of spicy. The servers were quick and somehow I calculated the price wrong thinking i was going to pay like $40 but to my joyful surprise it was only $14 plus tip which seems high compared to a stand out on the street but in my traveling opinion this was worth the extra $5 you would save. This place is located in a zone where there is constant movement of cars. Given its in a corner, you're going to find it difficult to get a parking spot that's close by during peak hours so take your precautions. The people that work there do their best but it's not enough and they get confused over who is serving your table so if you're looking for an organized service you will need to perhaps press and push hard to get served, if you are lucky to even get served at all. The cuisine is okay but there are other taco carts that serve tacos in the streets that are way better and serve the food hot.
