La taquería vegiee/ Egg Plant — Restaurant in Baja California

I'm still not sure if this place is completely vegetarian or even beyond into veganhood. I arrived when the place was busy and didn't want to slow the guy tending to customers. So I ordered a burrito de carne asada from the menu. The guy asked if I wanted mixed meat. I didn't. I always get carne asada or hamburger in México since those are the only meats I can be sure aren't organ or head meat. So if this place is vegan, how did I end up with meat? It didn't really seem like carne asada, so i was afraid they accidentally gave me organ meats. I wish I knew this burrito was vegan. It'd have been good without the thought of cow organs. Oh My Gatos!!!! I’m visiting TJ from CA and was concerned about what I would eat and didn’t think there would be any vegan places. Found them on Instagram and the food looked good so here I am looking for any excuse to come down to TJ to just come and get me some VEGAN bomb@$$ tacos!!!! So if you find yourself south of the border or are just a food adventure seeker this a must stop. 🤯¡Me encanto! El sazón de cada uno de los preparados para los tacos (asada,al pastor,y marlin) fue muy parecido a los sabores típicos mas la tortilla de maíz amarillo buenísima. El hot dog a sido uno de los mas buenos que e probado la salchicha, pan echo en casa y papas gruecesitas caseras le dan el toque ganador. Como me gustaría que tuvieran un hotdog estilo Sonorence o con un perfil mas fresco para potencializar mas aun la salchicha, el pan y las papas.La pizza everything you cant have me impresiono pese a que estuviera un poco saladita, el queso vegano tenia una elasticidad que ningún otro queso vegano tuviera 👏y el pan esponjosito deli. ❤️Loved it! Flavors were on point! Great vegan hot dog flavor and texture. Their hot dog bread is also great tasting texture and quality, made in-house. Would have loved to try their version of a Sonoran style or a fresher/lighter flavor profile hotdog. The tacos were all very tasty and their tortillas were a huge plus(taco gorbernador, asada, and alpastor).
