Restaurant Komasa Vip 일식 — Restaurant in Baja California

I have said this place is one of my favorite sushi spots in Tijuana many times, however, the last visit was a pretty poor experience.

I love sushi, and coming from Los Angeles, it was hard for me to find someplace with the same quality, however, this restaurant blew me away the first few times I’ve been here.

My most recent trip was not the same. I think my rating today is very generous based off the food atmosphere and service, because it’s usually so much better.

First when we got here we asked to be sat in the main room, where the fountain is, and there was only 1 other couple sitting there. They told us they couldn’t and put us between the main room and another big room. It felt like we were eating in a hallway. (We got here around 6:30 and they close at 11 so I’m not sure why this was)

Then it took about ten-15 minutes for us to speak to a waiter. We sat there without food or drinks or to even order. Again, only one other table that I saw in the restaurant.

Once we saw someone we asked about the specials in which the man didn’t know, and then a woman came over to answer who was much more knowledgeable. We had gyoza and the steak sashimi as an appetizer, and then four rolls that I do not remember the name. I think crunchy roll, special Philadelphia roll, and two others.

The sashimi came out so cold I thought it may have been frozen. The gyoza was great.

The sushi came out and was just ok.

Again, I think this was an off night for them, because the sushi is usually so much better.

Once we finished I asked for the check and it took them about twenty minutes to return. I had to ask three...

Mostly expensive but not good. The service wasn't good and the food was underwhelming, theres better sushi & japanese food places. It was clean tho, but the waiter sprayed the table when cleaning it from so far that the whole restaurant started to smell of cleaning product, and also right in the middle of the restaurant they where standing and cleaning their trays like next to where...

El dia de ayer fui a comer ahi por primera ver no me gusto su servicio todo pesimo no nos atendio bien el mesero y se fue ya no supimos donde estaba como el mesero atendio y se fue mi mama pido vino nadie lo servia tenian servi si mismo nada es su trabajo y como mesero mi mama en encargaba cosa y nadie lo traia y al termina de comer vino otro mesero lo estaba recojiendo la mesa y todavia no ha acabamos de comer como que nos estaba corriendo todavia estaba tomando un vino de mi mama hasta se lo quito por que se lo estaba recojiendo le dije almesero que si tenia prisa estabamos difrutando el restaurante pero el mesero no nos pregunto si podia recojerlo estodo modo se lo llevo pedimos la cuenta por que no nos gusto y nos queriamos ir y aparte ir al baño y fui al los baño todo bien sucio con mal servicio todo cochino para mi experiencia esta pesimo no me gusto nada su servicio ya no vuelvo ir por su primera vez que fui no se lo recomiendo para nada 100 por ciertos y para mi los meseros no son bien representado con experiencia y su ...
