PANCAKE REPUBLIC — Restaurant in Baja California

The food was pretty good but the service was ok and the atmosphere was a bit noisy and crowded.

I have the chilaquiles which I liked initially but it was lacking a diversity of flavor. The same old bite every time got kind of old. My husband had a pancake with eggs and bacon which he liked but was not impressed with. My little girl had the French toast which she was very happy with and my son had the pancakes.

For a place whose name includes the word pancake I would expect the then to be well made and maybe have some flavor. Instead the pancakes were mildly chewy and a bit pasty with no real flavor. A bit disappointing.

My little was the only one who was heartily satisfied with her meal. She really liked the French toast. I didn’t taste them but they looked good.

The service was polite but a bit rushed due to how packed they were. It was a bit noisy and cramped but really not too bad. If you come here expect a crowd, this place is popular.

Overall it was a good visit. Nothing spectacular but nothing horribly wrong. Just ok. Probably will not be back as this was our second visit. If you want a decent meal with decent pricing on the strip this is a good option. But if you’re looking for food that will blow your socks off....

Excellent! Outstanding! Beyond pleased with everything about the whole experience! The Service Extremely fast, almost surprisingly, and Alejandro was an amazing waiter! Two other servers checked on us also throughout our meal and they too were courteous and efficient. The Portions Man, I can eat.. but the ginormous portions provided were enough for almost two meals! Totally worth the price. And The Quality ~ So delicious that I would go back for dinner and have the same thing! We were sharing off of each other's plates because everything was That Good! (Shrimp Omelette, Chilaquiles Rojos with eggs, and a Chicken Club sandwich with a mountain of fries) Will most definitely return...

The food was delicious, pancakes are pretty big which is a plus. As far as the waitresses, they are pretty rude, not really the inviting type. My husband and I ordered and as the waitress left she went with the other waitresses and said something and started laughing. I shrugged it off. The waitresses are just standing there from afar looking at you eat. Some people would come in and you can tell that they are saying something about you. I understand they have to be there in case you need anything but damn I really could not eat in peace. They are literally just staring you down. I have gone to many restaurants but never felt the...
