Viaje Cocina del Mundo — Restaurant in Baja California

Me and my friends were referred to this place so we drove from San Diego to Rosarito to try the new restaurant..first thing it was really hard to find it.. anyway we found it.. it was beautiful inside very nice.. we got the menus..not too much to.select from.. guys were nice.. but we are here to eat oysters cause it is called oyster bar.. we ordered a Chica entree.. it was horrible it has one crab that is missing a leg and 4 oysters and 3 medium shrimps. The oysters were okay but the crab was missing a full leg. I talked to the Jeff I told him where is the other leg he didnt respond. How can we open the crab. In a nice restaurant it has to be opened so i asked.for opener.. finally I got it I opened it and the meat was frozen after a while the.meat started to fall.apart. and it tasted like canned crab. It was iced cream crab. The experience was horrible.. we ordered tuna dish.. the presentation was beautiful but the meat was old and it broke easy in my mouth and it was not chilled. The temperature was below room temperature. And the portion was small we were like it's okay cause it is a fancy restaurant but now we got the bill and it was very over priced. 20 dollars for the saugy crab missing a leg a d almost rottened shrimp. And almost another 20 dollars for the tuna. The bill was 44 dollars. If the food is worth it a d in a very good quality condition we will pay it with not even a discussion but the quality was very very below bad food.. If we knew that we would stay in San Diego and eat better food for cheaper price.. at the end i went to Jeff took him on the side and told him man the crab meat was frozen. He replied it's okay. He didnt even care .. bad customer service.. I wonder how this restaurant survived 3 month.. .. I hope they get better but I will never go back there . It was a very bad experience.. we went next door and ate the best food with very amazing location and food and it was cheaper...

Best oysters ever! Good atmosphere and beautifully decorated. You can have main dishes or appetizers ( their oyster taco with bacon so yummy) I also tried their tostadas green or black ceviche, and enjoyed a nice glass of wine! Would love to see more people there since it feels kind of empty, but although it's very central, it is a bit hidden so it needs more exposure to bring in more tourists. Hope they continue and thrive in the near future, since its menú is quite wordly for Rosarito and well it's nice to not have to drive all the way to Tj or Ensenada for...

I have visited this restaurant with couple of friends hoping to have good experience, the people were nice and smiling, but the food was so low in quality and quantity and very very overpriced, we ordered their appetizer small plate which came with only few oysters and one frozen crab, it was literally bad quality crab .... we tried to give feedback to the owner or manger which he was not very understanding of the bad situation.... we left the place fast ...I don’t really recommend you to waste your time or...
