I hate going to Mexico (only because of the border traffic coming back), but I love being there !!!

Visited Don Luis Restaurant for the first time AND loved it. You can always tell how good & fresh the food is at any restaurant by the amount of customers. That goes for any restaurant !!!

The restaurant I have been going to for many years did not have the clientele as they used to. The last time I was there the food and service had diminished. With so many restaurants competing for the tourist's money, some of these restaurants need to step up their game and provide exceptional service.

Luckily I came across Don Luis by accident. It is now my "Go To" restaurant !!!

Great tasting lobster, beans & rice AND freshly made flour tortillas. The price was very reasonable.

Pretty good ocean view from the upstairs section of the restaurant.

I'll be coming back before the lobster season is over.

Post pandemic prices for lobster are 22$ 25$ and 30$. We ate here today and were not impressed at all for that price. “lobsters” will give you 6-8 decent bites from small tails and that’s it. The “butter” they give you, imho, is anything but. Maybe they waved a stick of butter 🧈 over it as this weird oily nastiness went through thier kitchen. That’s the closest thing to butter as you’ll get for your $30 meal. Bring your own. It’s an insult to the lobster to put that stuff on it. Beans ok, rice nothing special, tortillas ok. Parking is horrific ($10 more) and the whole experience is not worth it anymore. Oh the place was noisy as Can be. Waiters dropping stuff, kids screaming, etc. Not...

Edwin charmed us into Don Luis's place to eat lobster. We sat outside on the second floor and had a great view of the Pacific. We l were shown the lobster sizes with price and chose the smaller ones as it was 3 halves of lobster, rice and beans, and of course the flour tortillas. We were also treated to a margarita which we found were very tasty. All for 23.50 us dollars per person. The meal was all what we had hoped for. The drawn butter with garlic was very good. All in all I would definitely be back to Don Luis for another...
