We ordered three pizzas over the phone, and from the very beginning, the experience was alarmingly unprofessional. The person who took our order didn’t bother to ask for a name or phone number — not even the bare minimum for a proper pickup order. Their tone was apathetic, as if they couldn’t care less about customer service or accuracy. After I placed the order, all they said was a dull “okay,” with no confirmation or further details. This lack of care instantly raised red flags, especially since I had already read multiple negative reviews online, with people warning about delivery delays ranging from 1.5 to 2 hours.
To avoid that nightmare, we chose to walk to the Domino’s location ourselves — late at night, between 11:30 p.m. and midnight, right after an exhausting day at Xcaret. Our hotel, Seadust Cancun, shuts down its restaurants at 11 p.m., so this was our only food option nearby. We were tired, hungry, and just hoping for a smooth pickup. Instead, we walked into a mess.
Not only was the staff indifferent and disorganized, but the pricing was also suspicious. I was charged 1,050 pesos, which I didn’t immediately calculate — my mistake. It wasn’t until we got back to the hotel that I realized I had just paid $65 USD for three pizzas. Based on the conversion rate at the time, it should’ve been around $58. Without my permission or knowledge, they effectively tipped themselves — and not a small amount, either. It’s deceptive, dishonest, and completely unacceptable.
I had every intention of tipping for decent service, but when you’re overcharged like that — especially when the service is poor to begin with — it feels like a scam. Compared to U.S. prices, even in tourist areas, $65 for three pizzas is outrageous.
This place is sketchy, plain and simple. I urge you, with full sincerity and experience behind these words: Do not waste your money or your time here. There are far better, more honest establishments that respect their customers. This was not just disappointing — it felt like we were taken advantage of. Trust me — take your appetite and your...

On 29 march order arrived very late.
On 31 march order didn't arrived, so i went to store and guy at store said I don't have any driver to deliver pizza and the pizza was cold. So he reheated the pizza as I refused to take the cold pizza.
Guy asked me to call dominos, so I called the dominos 6 times prior going to store and nobody answered the call.
I mentioned the same to the store guy and he said we don't take calls after 12:00 am. So I showed him my call details and all the calls were made before 12 (between 11:15 pm to 11:45 pm)
After refusal of taking cold pizza, store guy agreed to make new pizza but I still had to pay for uber for round trip.
I would say it was...
Read morePizza at Domino’s was top notch, the Pan Pizza Mexicana hit the spot in ways the resort food could only dream of. And let’s be honest, who better to judge good pizza than a fat white guy, am I right?!
The staff were fantastic; between their few English words and our few Spanish ones, we formed a culinary alliance stronger than the crust itself. A true international collaboration in the name of melted cheese.
