This place only opens at 1:30 pm and closes at 7 pm. Walked over to this eatery and sat outside. Nice and chilled atmosphere. I ordered the complete meal for 120$MX. I am not quite sure what everything was but it was complete. A salad, a watermelon drink, a soup, a plate with rice, some patties, and something with chopped up sausage in it, a basket with two things in then that might have been soya logs, and a small bowl of chopped up mango. It filled me up and for the price it was good. My Spanish is not good enough to engage the server to find out what some of the items were. They were all vegan and that was good enough for me. The toilet is clean. There is some Indian vibe here. I went back and had some of the tacos. They were good 20$MX each. I enjoyed the watermelon drink so much I ordered another drink the second time I went. It was a different flavour and it had added sugar. I don't drink sugar so I didn't drink it past the few sips I took. When I go back and if I order another drink I will have to make sure there isn't any added sugar. I found this place to be the best deal for a vegan meal in Cancun so far. Mind you, I probably could have found some street food for less but I don't eat off disposables and didn't bring a...
Read morePure vegetarian food made by a Hindu family of Mexican origin. Unbelievable taste. Don't think of Indian food, they serve only vegetarian tacos.
We are Indian in origin and we're looking for Indian vegetarian food. When we entered the Resturant, greater by a Mexican girl who speaks very little English, we thought food is not going to be what we imagined. Well, we gave it a try anyways, as the environment conveyed that we could rely at least on the vegetarian nature of food at least.
After trying one taco, we ordered a whole bunch, and then the second round, and third and fourth.. The tamarind drink and the Mellon drinks were awesome. If you had tasted tempering in India, the drink will remind you the taste on the very first sip.
We probably ate 15 tacos and 3 drinks, yet the bill was only around $9 USD..!!!!
Late at night, we had difficulty finding the Taxi.. While the daughter tried to help us find one, the father arrived from his work. Realizing the situation, he offered us a ride, 25 kilo meters to the hotel, even before he had a chance to freshen up or go inside the Resturant come home.
We were impressed by the hospitality and amazed by a non Indian family living with ISKCON...

Taste - 9/10 Some of the best vegan tacos I’ve ever had. Flavorful, satisfying, and with 10-15 different options to choose from. We also tried the vegetarian hamburger, which was skippable, hence the 1-point deduction. Be sure to squeeze some lemon and ask for extra salsa
Ambience - 5/10 Classic hole-in-the-wall vibes. Seating is basic and a bit worn out, no air conditioning, but they did turn on a fan for us which helped. You’re here for the food, not the setting.
Service - 7/10 The owner is sweet and helpful, but speaks very limited English. We used a translator app to communicate and it worked fine. If you don’t speak Spanish, be prepared to gesture and translate a bit, but the effort is worth it.
Value for Money - 10/10. At just 20 pesos per taco, this was one of the cheapest and most delicious meals we had in all of Mexico. Incredible value for the taste. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Recommendations: Any of the vegan tacos Add lemon and extra salsa Skip the...
