This one goes for the beisbol fans. First of all, it is not the most modern, and high end stadium. Still is very well kept, clean, organized and in a good location in the city (close to everything, which is not always the case in other cities in mexico). On the other hand, it is a very nice way to get to experience and live the life of the locals. It is very safe, and locals behave very well and respectful. The ambiance is good, you can get to try many of the local foods or food that locals use to have while at the stadium (this varies from one city to another). Hey dont forget that as any other beisbol stadium, a beer is a must, so as long as you have one, shoul not have any inconvenience and just go with the flow. One of the pros is that you can have a very vip seating for less than 10usd (if compared to other places, this is nothing), not in the play offs tho. Still i a very cheap and safe way to experience locals way of living and entertaining. Also remember to clap your hands for the mascot and make it dance for you. Dont forget the beisbol players, and they make the night for you, some of them may play in the MLB, so the quality of players is...

I was eyeing the food vendors the whole time - had a plate of homemade enchiladas that I don't think I'll ever forget. Also, I got a "churro" with a waffle-cone shell filled with chocolate syrup and - get this - cheese. It was so good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which I greatly appreciated, since I speak very little Spanish. They were also very honest, since I was an obvious tourist, they helped me with pesos without taking advantage. I bought a Tigres hat and greatly recommend this place to any baseball fan...
Read moreGood baseball stadium with lots of choices in snacks and food with cheap priced beer. Obviously not a state of the art field like the ones back in the U.S. but still great place to catch a ball game and be with the local community. So if you're looking for a good time with cheap eats and trying to get away from all the drunk tourists from the hotel zone, go over to the baseball stadium to catch a game and be with the locals. Down to earth people and a taste of the real Mexico and not the fake one built @...
