Staff is incredibly disorganized and monumentally inattentive in regards “to go” orders.

First time: ordered “to go” in person and waited 45 minutes for a soup.

Second time, called ahead “to go” order and not only was the order not ready when I arrived but there was no record of the order. Fortunately, the order was “expedited” and received in 15 minutes whilst waiting in restaurant (I arrived 30 minutes after placing the order by phone so total 45 minutes waiting).

I have eaten in the restaurant at two other locations. The location by Plaza de los Toros/ Plaza las Americas is busy but functional (unlike this Coba location). The location in Playa del Carmen Plaza las Americas is not too busy but the service...

It wasn't a good experience although the spot was highly recommended to me by friends. The service was poor and our waitress had too many tables. We tried to communicate across the language barrier using Google translate to bolster our Iess than perfect college Spanish. But at the end the language was not the real issue. Our waitress was just not very concerned about making sure we got what we ordered. If we added something extra that's the last thing she heard so that's what she brought. Lol!! It was an hour before closing, so i suspect she was tired. I'm not mad at her. I was tired myself and and starving. I left dissatisfied which is almost as bad as leaving as hungry as...

Family style restaurant. Extensive menu selection which covers all standards. Also good salads. Gringos, this is not what you are used to. It has a Yucatán style seasoning to it. Yet, It is bland. So, you should enjoy it. It is inofensive. It's hygienic. There's wifi. Great a/c. Fast, attentive service with a smile. Their (sweet) breads are good and baked next door. It's the equivalent of whatever chain restaurant you go to in the US. It'll please everyone. It's inexpensive. They serve B/L/D. You won't go wrong.

My mother absolutely loves this place for its anchor foods: pozole, tostadas, and pretty much everything on the first and second pages of the menu. I detest this place because, beyond the two first pages of the menu, the food is always pretty expensive, terribly salty and horribly greasy. Avoid the chilaquiles. And the huaraches. And pretty much everything that is bathed in fresh sauces. That's the worst! But, the pozole is inexpensive and always good. Pretty much the best item on the menu!

There is delicious food here! I love the stuffed pepper, it comes with rice and delicious sauce, and the chicken tacos as well, the meat is good quality and well flavored. They often will offer a selection of either fresh juice or baked goods at your table as well. The wait staff is very nice, treated me as a friend. I may not be able to visit again during the remainder of my trip however it was a very fun experience! It reminded me of my Abuela :)
