La Vaquita Cancun — Restaurant in Cancún

The club was good entertainment with good music but they should play little bit more English music to accommodate the foreigners as they play 70% spanish music. I got a v.i.p table they said you must buy a bottle which cost $180 usd for a bottle of 700mm jack daniels. Which was a rip off. But i wanted to get the vip lounge because the dance floor was to tight and couldnt move. Even thoe i asked for the table 4 times and they ignored me because i didnt have any bling on which is funny because i can buy that club out. Then the 4th time i said i want a bottle of jack shisha and a table now. And then they started to treat me like a king which i found funny and everything i did or asked they wantes tips. For the shisha he said $30usd then i said i want 2 flavours mixed and said ok i paid the guy who gave the bottle and table already and the shisha (hookah) guy came back try to get more money because i wanted 2 flavours and tried to get 45 more im like what for then said u want to flavours and its $5more so i said ok heres 5 and get the 30 off the other guy. Which he clearly knew i paid. Then couple hours later i asked for the coal to be re newed and he charged me $10 more which he was walking around after doing it for free to others. Overpriced. We paid almost $35-40 to get in. The lady in the front selling the wristbands charged us for some kind of insurance (?) to get in. She didn't even fully explain why we had to pay two separate charges just to get in. They also charge $50 to get a table and in order to get a table you HAVE to buy bottles. When ordering drinks at the bar, they only had 1 bartender and the drinks were almost $20 for a small plastic cup. The staff kept running around with huge buckets of ice just dropping ice everywhere, pushing and shoving through the crowd. It was crowded. The music was fun though, they played lots of modern hip hop, dembow with a mix of old school reggaeton. We ordered a hookah and reminded the guy about 5 times and it never came. When the security started telling people to go home because it was almost 4AM and time to close, the guy FINALLY came to tell us he couldn't bring us our hookah because they were about to close. He didn't forget to charge us for it though! Also a lot of men stand outside the club just watching you... maybe they're cab drivers waiting for their next customer, maybe not, idk. it was...

I don’t think they believe in maximum capacity because they allowed more people to come in, even though it was obvious that people no longer fit. That was just a hazardous concern. You can’t dance or move really because of how tight everyone was. We lasted probably like 20min in there and most of that time we were just trying to leave the nightclub. The drinks were trash tbh. Definitely not worth coming and spending 35 U.S. dollars for admission, with drinks included. I personally didn’t get drinks since we left early, but our other 2 friends stayed a bit longer and they were able to to get some palomas, but it just tasted like straight up juice. Again, not worth it. It’s just unfortunate because we really tried to enjoy it, but it was just too much. Another thing I noticed was lack of security guards in the nightclub. If something was to happen, like a fight or misunderstanding with another person, someone getting ill- I wondered what is their protocol? Like I said you can’t...
