Tacos Rigo — Restaurant in Cancún

The food was great, we had tacos, queso fundido and enchiladas . My 2 star is because they overcharge tourists, Be careful when paying the bill, they will charge you in dollars at their own exchange rate. I was with a party of 4, they charged my friend $87 USD, exchange rate and proper pricing was $73 USD. Usually, you were asked if you want to pay in pesos or dollars when paying with a credit card and the reader is brought over. They rush you to pay the bill so you don’t notice. They also include a 10% tip. I’d eat there again but I’d ask to see the cc reader, make sure to pay in pesos and tip is already included. (Which is not customary in Mexico). This place was a fantastic stop for lunch one day when my wife and I were out venturing around Cancun. The Corona was ice cold and the tacos were fantastic (we ordered the bistec.) They also had the best guacamole I've ever had in my life. The waiter spoke very little English but that's okay because I speak very little Spanish and we got along great and understood each other fine. Excellent salsas including very mild to volcanic hot (I learned that the hard way but still enjoyed it.) I recommend this place to anyone wanting to escape the confinement of the resort. We discovered this place more than 15 years ago and every time we visit Cancun we make sure we pay a visit

Their Tacos are simply amazing and delicious we love the Al Pastor, Bistec, Campechanos, Sesos, Longaniza and Lemgua.

They also have Gringas, Tortas, Burritos and many more delicious dishes to choose from we always pair our food with a super cold Victoria, Pacifico or Modelo.

This time Flor our waiter was very nice and friendly

Keep in mind that parking may be challenging if you are driving to this restaurant.

Price varies but must of their food is very affordable
