Alfonso's Pizza — Restaurant in Ensenada

Horrible customer service and poorly managed. I came by around 7:30pm for pizza and tried sitting outside. The indoor area was pretty full the tables/chairs were all plastic/patio furniture, no music, no atmospere The cashier/hostess rudly said a server would come out to take my order. Nobody came, after 10 minutes I went back in and was told by a waiter the outside area was closed. Why would they want to cram people indoors during a pandemic and keep the outdoor seating closed? So I decided to order the pizza to go and eat it outside anyway and some other customers I met outside began doing the same. After bringing out my pizza in a to go box the servers turned off all of the outside lights. Very rude, what a horribly run business.

The manager was watching the whole interaction. They had at least 5 waiters working that night there is no reason one waiter couldn't have provided service outdoors.

The service was very attentive, they start you off with fresh baked bread and butter, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside! For a family of 6, we ordered a large pepperoni pizza, sauce was so fresh, topped with a generous amount of cheese and pepperoni! The pizza crust was so delicious also, finished it to the edges! We ordered the Antipasta salad so nicely layered, it had the pepperoni, cheese stick, ham, black olives, tomato, green bell peppers, purple onion, lettuce mix with spinach and a vinaigrette dressing, so yummy. The fettuccine Alfredo shrimp pasta was so fresh and creamy, with a generous amount of shrimp! The mineral water lemonade was so delicious, you can taste the bits of real lemons! Was there this weekend with the family to celebrate my son’s birthday. Service was great and food was good. Temperatures inside the restaurant were extremely hot, I wish they had air conditioning. I asked for ice and they said they ran out and that they should be getting some within 5 minutes. They never got back to me about the ice. Meanwhile, I’m suffering from extremely heat as my drink is less than room temperature. I ask the waitress about the ice and she replies that they still don’t have any 10-15 had passed.
