This is 100% guaranteed the best restaurant is Zihua. The family started out with caprese salad. Fresh mozzarella, tomato and the perfect amount of basil. Next was dinner. An order of the tuna tartare, whole octopus, shrimp fettuccine and Mahi Mahi.
Dinners had a very good portion of protein, served with fresh delicately cooked vegetables and rice. The flavors were tremendous and they went together beautifully. In the states you’d pay 35-50$ per plate for the quality. Here it was 10-18usd.
The most common review talks about the avocado pie. Yes it is phenomenal!! So is the key lime pie.
Most importantly of this whole thing is the staff. Augustine and our waiter were a extremely great combination. Very personable, English was good and were always making sure we had everything we needed( but not in an overbearing way).
Please please please, go check this place out. As a pacific northwesterner, I’m telling you this seafood is cooked perfectly. The pasta sauce was homemade and not why you typically find in many restaurants in Zihua.

They have a tuna carpaccio, which was very tasty. If you want tuna steak, it is very good also and will come seared ,as I wasn't sure if it would be cooked fully thru.
