We were staying at Aura and decided to walk over to Maderas since it was next door. We got seated and started with good hospitality. The owner Armando even came to chat with my husband for a few minutes. Then his chilaquiles came out about 10 minutes later and looks amazing, our sisters fried chicken came out and same. I was waiting for my lobster special. My husband finished his food and mine was still "finishing up", about 30 minutes after ordering it finally comes, looks good and taste good but too long of a wait. My sister and I took a mini walk to the beach because I was still a little mad but my husband waited for the brownie desert, the waiter packed it to go 🤦🏻‍♀️. We just happened to sit down at Armando's and were personally greeted by Armando himself. He recommended several seafood dishes, and I decided on the coconut shrimp with mango sauce. It was amazing. I had some coconut shrimp at a nearby restaurant because it was recommended to me as the best. It wasn't even close to Armando's. The shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked. Beautiful location on the beach! You eat at a table in the sand by the water. The owner, Priscila personally introduced herself and her restaurant to us. She checked on our table many times as well as the servers were attentive. They ensured our experience was good. Great food and drinks! The wait time for food from when we ordered was a little long (45minutes-hour) but it was worth the wait and it didn’t matter much because it was enjoyable to sit and talk there.
